1. PURPOSE
To provide procedure of Service Bulletin for modification and improvement to In-
service Product based on Repair or Alteration design of Aircraft Structure, Avionic
Equipment Installation, Interior and Exterior.

3.1. Alteration Data that comply with the Type Certification basis and

3.2. Service Bulletin A document prepared by DOA ACS to provide technical


(SB) information on changes to the DOA ACS approved design of
In-service Product. It may also provide technical information
on inspections and repairs to be applied on In-service
Product. Service Bulletin is used to transmit actions which
require a record of accomplishment.
3.3. Change Change Proposal (CP), a written proposal to modify or
Proposal (CP) improve the existing repair or alteration design as a
mandatory, recommended or optional change

6. PROCEDURES

The procedures of SB shall be accordance with the following Sections 6.1 and 6.2 :
6.1 Design Office
a. Design Engineer prepares Change Proposal (CP) using Form of Change
Proposal (AS-DO-P403) and determines change category.
b. Design Engineer prepare SB using Form of Service Bulletin (AS-DO-
F406.01) and determines change category whether it is optional,
recommended or mandatory.
c. Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) verifies SB.
d. Submits SB to Airworthiness Office for ensuring compliance with
applicable Airworthiness requirements.
6.2 Airworthiness Office
a. Receives SB from Design Office.
b. Verifies and approves SB concerning compliance with applicable
Airworthiness requirements.
c. Submits SB to DGCA for approval.

d. Submits the DGCA approved SB to EDM for reproduction and distribution.
