16. 放料圓週設定 放料要設定圓週才能有預備力
Unwinder Unwinder supply need circumference setting ,has
circumference setting preparation strength.
17. 緊急停止 危急時,按此鈕以停止機台運作
Emergency stop button Push button will stop the machine operation.
18. 工具箱 放置工具

19. 氣壓風源 收料氣壓軸之空氣源接頭
Air connector Air is supplied by this connector.
20. 風槍 氣壓軸充氣用
Air gun Fill air into rewind air shaft.
21. 固定式底座 安裝收料台
Fixed base The base is fixed and support whole rewind unit.
22. 移動式給料台 由 EPC 控制驅動器,使底座作左右移動
Unwind base The base will move right/leftward automatically
follow action of film with E.P.C. controller.
23. 氣壓軸心 放置收料原料
Air shaft For hold the paper core onto the air shaft tightly.
24. 給料臂 用於安裝給料軸

SR17A Simple instruction

TOAD (Transparency–Opaque Auto Detector )


The sensors can be applied to all kinds of film Initial setting
(pattern) materials without any setting for the auto Indicates sensor grade (Material setting)
sensing “A” model [applicable in strong light
ambience]. Therefore:
1. Initial setting performed during installation is
enough for long-term use. |
2. When the sensor signal is abnormal, initial
setting must be performed again to correct
internal data.
3. The only requirement for maintenance is regular
cleaning of dust and grease on the infrared
windows.
4. All internal data retention are over 40 years.

1.Connection of sensor : LPC, EPC and EPCu indicate normal connection of


sensor while XXX indicates that the sensor is
disconnected.
2.Position of actuator : Indicates present position of the display machine.
3.Position of Watch dog : When the function of range monitoring (F6) is initiated,
values are promptly updated and memories are stored.
4.LPC signal gain : Only for use with SR18 LPC/EPC SENSOR.
5.Fans started : When internal temperature of the controller reaches
45。C, the double fans start to work to dispel heat. When

temperature drops down to 43 C, double fans switch
off.
6.Internal temperature of controller : Indicates internal temperature of controller.
7.Total length of actuator : The system will read data about the total length of the

8.LS2 LS1 : Limit switches of actuator, which provides a guarantee of


operation safety (LS2) as well as data about the actuator’s
length and confirmation of the position of the zero point (LS1).
9.Indication of border : “| |”indicates that the actuator’s border limit (Watch Dog)
function has been enabled while ”. .” indicates that Watch
Dog has been released.
10.Setting of watch dog range : -/+ sets the range of actuator’s displacement, i. e. 01mm ~
20mm, on the right and left with tolerance value of +/- 0.5mm

F1.System Setting : sets actuator’s response speed, alarm function, EPCu


sensor’s direction, administrator’s password, etc. For
details please refer to the section of “System Setting -1 “.
F2.Setting of actuator’s position : 1. Sets fast-return position (tolerance 0.5mm) and stores it
after execution.
2. Return to zero point when necessary for rectification of
the actuator’s position.
F4,5.Setting of range : -/+ sets the range of actuator’s displacement, i. e. 01mm ~
20mm on the right or left, with an error value +/-0.5mm

*This function requires auto mode and is initiated only


when the Sensor’s signal is exactly in the web. Upon
refresh, the value of the position will be viewed as
reference point for watch dog by the system and stored.
For example, M050 |03| indicates that the position of
the machine is 50mm and only +/- 3mm
displacement is permitted (Tolerance +/-0.5mm ), beyond
which the system will provide some information and
methods.

“ System Setting-1”
*The watch dog can be disabled at any time*

Administrator’s option : F1 F2 F3 may be controlled by password. For detailed explanation please


refer to the section of “system setting –1”

Reset button : 1. As a hidden button, the key can be pressed when the system needs to re-read
data about the actuator’s full length.
2. When the system failures shut down because of operations failure, the pressing
the key will refresh data after trouble – shooting.

Exit button : This key can be used to exit after entering “system Setting”.

6. PAUES – WHEN OVER BORDER : Actuator will be temporarily suspended when the
actuator position exceeds its preset limits ( Watch

its preset limits, and the alarm has been activated,
but the actuator has subsequently returned within
its limits, the alarm and signal output will be
de-activated.

The setup default value is “ 1234 ” . F1 F2 F3 system management can be entered only with the
password after exit from this screen and enabled item 10.

* In case of loss of password, press lightly on terminals 18# and 22# ( on the back of controller ).
The system will relinquish password control for a while and permit users to enter it for password
change or disabled security ( item 10 ).,

1. Press F6 key (zero set point) and the actuator move back to the zero set point L000mm, while

by LS1.

the value of the return positioning point can be stored only if F1 is pressed for star up.

The Importance of LPC/EPC Web Position Monitoring (Watch dog)


The CS12 controller and EA10K actuator series provide the function of position monitoring required
by these industries. By using them, you can obtain the positions of materials through a ONE TOUCH
operation, while enabling or disabling the monitoring function at the same time. With the function of
position monitoring enabled, the CS12 controller provides control signals for the following conditions
from which the Administrator can choose:
3 Options:
1. In case of abnormal shifting (beyond the set range), the normal open contact of Relay 2 is
closed for status manipulation by the electrical system.
2. In case of abnormal shifting (beyond the set range), operation of the EPC Actuator is stopped
automatically.
3. When the machine returns to the preset range, the contact output and alarm of Relay 2 are
released automatically and monitoring mode resumes.
The CS12 controller produces an alarm sound for abnormal shifting only if the monitoring
function is enabled, without above 3 functions being set.

TOAD (Transparency – Opaque Auto Detector)

SR17
MODE-A : * Setting of sensitivity is required only one time when where necessary (setting of
environment (Initial) )
* Transparency of material can be detected and modified automatically (TOAD).
* When graphic irregularity appears in the printing corresponding optimized values
will be detected by automatic adjustment of the sense system to guarantee the
stability of EPC positioning.
* Applicable to materials with complicated and easily changeable transparency.

MODE-N : * During setting of sensitivity, be sure to complete the following two steps setting of
the environment (Initial) and the setting of material.
* Enhanced resistance to dust and temperature with set values immune from
variation of materials.
* Applicable to any material with stable transparency (transparent film, mesh,
non-woven , fabric, paper, etc.).

MODE-F : * For the setting of sensitivity the following two steps must be completed setting of
the environment (Initial) and setting of the material.
* Enhanced resistance to dust and temperature. Definite edge position and
reinforced environmental resistance will be achieved upon completion of setting.
* Applicable only to semi-transparent and opaque materials in dust-filled
environments.

MODE-T : * Setting of sensitivity the following two steps must be completed in setting of the
environment (Initial) and the setting of the material.
* Quick response and sharp performance curve.
* Applicable in environments with good material conditions and mechanical features.
* Applicable only to materials with stable transparency (transparent film, mesh,

Explanation of Error Mess EPC Web Guide System

System Error message and trouble shooting

Error message:
System off on account of the temperature being too high…
The system itself will turn off and send alarm information if the internal

temperature of controller exceeds 75 C. Excessively high temperature
may have been caused by “bad strain”, “loose screws on the actuator”,
“horizontal tilt of the material platform”, ”impeded track glide” or “curing
of the material in waves”, all of which result in long-tem hunting of the
material platform from continuous hunting , as the situation will also
cause damage to the actuator, as well as bad quality to products made of
the material.

When the sensor disconnects, shut down and check the system…
When sensor is disconnected or failed, the LCD screen will Display “XXX”.
Error message will show up itself if the sensor setting is performed at the
time.

Setting fails. Pease adjust focal distance or angle and try again…
During LPC setting, the error message will appear in the absence of
correct information about printing color or film polish. If so, pay attention
to the collocation of “focal distance” and “Front/Back Tilt Angle”. The face
side is not allowed to tilt. Keep material from sliding. There are
ever-changing collocations of printing color and polish from various
materials. Some of them may prove to be difficult to obtain. Coordination
of adjustment of “Focal distance“ and “angle” is necessary to achieve the
best color difference data.

System shut down on account of motor line “short circuit”…

System shut down on account of motor +/- lines in reverse connection…


In these two cases the device can be restarted only after repair of lines
between the controller and motor or clearing away of carbon deposit in the
motor.

Movement of machine impeded >> Please check for 1. carbons deposit in the
motor, 2. cable in bad, condition in
reverse connection or pathway hindered,
the latter being a serious error…
Please deal with error messages arising from impeded movement of the
machine according to trips mentioned above.
