The learners demonstrate understanding of basic concepts underlying principles in
Beauty Care.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learners independently demonstrate common competencies in Beauty Care aligned
by MELC’s as prescribed by the DepEd and TESDA regulations.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES:
1. Discuss the significance or relevance of basic arm and hand massage in relation to other
activities done in Beauty Care.
2. Perform the proper steps/procedures in hand massage using appropriate material/supplies
readily available at home considering potential substitute or materials present.
3. Develop awareness in health protocol using patron/s among the members of the family in
enhancing the task under New Normal.

Performance Objective:

The learners will be able to demonstrate the basic hand massage following the
steps/ procedures given.
The learners perform the home based-activity using available materials at home:

Hairnet ( if hairnet is not available at home they can use handkerchief or any
towel or katcha)
