MNIT is a premier Institute in the State of Rajasthan dedicated in imparting quality education in the

field of Technology and Management. I have observed that the placements of Students of MNIT ,
Jaipur have been quite good in recent years and especially those students who have technical
background have done well in the campus placements . Given the present situation of economy and
the pace with which Indian economy is growing there is an urgent need to educate management
students how to be an asset to the organization with which they work. My area of specialization
relates to human resource management a aspect of which deals with educating the students how to
constantly hone their skills and to upgrade themselves .This is especially important in today’s fast
changing world where nothing is constant.

My desire to Join MNIT stems from the fact that the students who come to study at this institute
presents a unique challenge to the teacher because of their educational background and in some case
because of their prior work experience. Teaching students is always a different experience when they
pose a intellectual challenge to the teacher. MNIT also has a very experienced senior faculty and if I get
a chance to teach at this institute I will utilize this opportunity to learn from their long experience . I
have had a chance to visit the library of the MNIT while I was a student at Poddar Institute of
Management in the year 2002, Off Course many years have passed but I still remember that even
during that time MNIT was having a very rich library and I am sure that even today MNIT must be
having a library which would be among one of the best. If given a change to serve at this institute I
would like to inculcate the habit of writing at least one research paper among my students and to
encourage them to get it published before they complete their education at the institute. I would also
like to encourage them to work in close coordination with their immediate seniors as well as those
seniors who are working elsewhere in the industry . This would ensure that they get their basic right
from the very beginning and have a proper guidance system in place in the form of patronage from
other alumni from the institute. Setting up an alumni association and effectively engaging them to
nurture and engage the current students is an important task I am looking forward to accomplish if I am
given a chance to work at the institute. I would also like to ask my students to effectively apply for
various national and international summer internship programs like Internships at International Trade
Commission, Geneva , to get a feel of global business environment.
