○ Responsible for maintaining security of all waterside assets through static afloat
positions, inspections of all foreign vessels transiting the area of operation,
escorting US assets in and out of the area of operation, and coordinating security
personnel placements and movements throughout the day.
○ Responsible for the training and qualification of other service members within the
watch team of all duties.
○ Earned two Navy Achievement Medals for outstanding service and
watchstanding.
● 2015-2017: USS Wasp (LHD-1) Naval Station Norfolk, VA.
○ Responsible for the safety and security onboard the USS Wasp as both a law
enforcement and physical security expert.
○ Led security teams ranging from 11-113 people, maintained and updated the
command urinalysis program for over 700 personnel, certified and oversaw the
ship's brig, led security teams in investigations and reports, and led tactical
response teams.
○ Responsible for the training and qualification of personnel within the security
department. Part of the Anti-Terrorism Training Team, training personnel across
various shipboard departments in security protocols and responses.
