PBL Component Description

Project Title Save the Planet: How can I help?

Earth is abundant in all of the essential resources

Project Idea necessary to sustain life, but it is steadily dwindling

due to human unethical conduct. Over the centuries,

the human race has made use of natural resources

and causing tremendous damages putting the planet

in danger. With the increasing level of pollution and all

human activities, these resources became depleted

and even impacting the lives of all living things. It is

past time to begin preserve and change. These will

provide valuable opportunities for students to

participate in real-world problems outside of the

classroom. It develops student awareness and skills

required to deal with complex environmental

problems, as such, take action to keep the natural

world safe, economies active, and communities

vibrant. It also empowers students to lead the way in

creating greener and healthier learning environments

inside and outside their school buildings.

Driving Question How can I save the planet? What are the actions
needed?
Grant Objectives Addressed Objective 1.1 By March 2021, 80% of actively

participating 21st CCLC students will show an

increased understanding of the importance of waste

management.

Objective 1.2 By March 2021, 80% of actively

participating 21st CCLC students will demonstrate

awareness and advocate for promoting a clean green

environment

Objective 1.3 By March 2021, 90% of actively

participating 21st CCLC students will implement a

comprehensive, innovative project or action plan to

mitigate environmental issues such as pollution.

This include adaptability, fiscal

responsibility, environmental awareness,

empathy, tolerance, and global

awareness.
