1. In today’s sabha, we learned about Sadguru Brahmanand Swami’s life. What are some qualities of Sadguru Brahmanand Swami that we learned today - which prasang exemplified this quality? a. Answers will vary based upon personal references. b. Kishores/kishoris should talk about the various qualities and virtues Sadguru Brahmanand Swami possessed. For example, he became free of his ego through the samagam of Maharaj, his intense devotion to Maharaj was what allowed him to be able to create kirtans on the spot, and he was instantly able to give up all worldly desires (maya) because he recognized that Maharaj was the only one who could give him moksha. c. Follow up question: Brahmanand Swami was able to remove his ego through the association and samagam of Maharaj. How can we slowly wash away our swabhavs just like Brahmanand Swami? ■ Answers will vary based on personal methods. ■ We learned in today’s sabha that it is through the samagam of Maharaj through man, karma, and vachan that Brahamanand Swami was able to remove swabhavs such as ego or pride. Similarly, we need to associate ourselves to the manifest form of Bhagwan, which is the Satpurush, Mahant Swami Maharaj.
2. Throughout Brahamanand Swami’s life, we came to learn that he adhered to Maharaj’s agnas and was always trying to earn his raajipo. During this time we have in quarantine, how can we go about earning the Satpurush’s raajipo? a. Answers will vary based on personal methods. b. Although we may be in quarantine, there are many ways in which we can earn the raajipo of Maharaj and Swami. For example, we can connect to Mahant Swami Maharaj and earn his rajipo by memorizing the Satsang Diksha, performing daily satsang reading, performing daily ahnik, prasang manan, and even studying for next years Satsang Exams. c. Brahmannad Swami also understood the mahima of Shriji Maharaj and that is why all of his actions were geared toward making him happy. We too can develop this mahima for the Satpurush by reading his prasangs. Using the Jivan Charitra is a great place to start to develop mahima and faith within our gurus.
