Venture Six paper cup Pvt. Ltd. will be a registered as a partnership firm that will be located in Balkot; in
an ideal location that is highly suitable for the kind of business we want to establish. We have been able
to get a facility that is big enough to fit into the design of the kind of manufacturing company that we
intend establishing. We intend providing the highest quality paper cups which has more thickness than
other standard cups, thus provides a better hold while drinking tea and coffee. As a part of the global
youth we want to do something productive and contribute towards the society in a harmonious way
focusing on the use of paper instead of plastics, as in long term it reduces global warming.

Along with the fast-changing lifestyles, Paper cups are highly used in tea shops, coffee shops, hotels,
supermarkets, educational institutions, food canteens, as well as in the wedding parties. The demand for
paper plates and cups is increasing rapidly.Also, this paper cup looks beautiful and attractive with
different types of designs and doesn’t cause harm to the environment due to its eco-friendly nature.

As paper cups are a product of daily use and have mass consumption requirements, selling of paper cups
in the market will not be a problem. With well-established demand and supply forces, the prices of paper
cups in the market can be easily ascertained and sold in bulk to traders or end customers through a variety
of channels.

We are aware that there are several paper cup manufacturing companies around Kathmandu valley, which
is why we spent time and resources to conduct a thorough feasibility studies and market survey so as to be
well positioned to favorably compete with all our competitors.

Venture Six paper cup Pvt. Ltd. is a private firm that is owned by six young and energetic friends all from
management background. Pradeep Limbu –Executive Head and supplier relation, Roshan Kumar Sunar-
Site manager, Mamata Limbu- Employee management and sales head, Prashant Sharma- Documentation,
Technology and accounts, Pritisha Acharya and PrakritiDahal- Marketing and public relation.

The total fund for our ventre will be Rs.25,00,000 .We are currently seeking Rs.13,00,000 in startup
funding in addition to our personal investment of Rs. 12,00,000. These Funds will be used to secure a
location, purchase machine and office equipments, and for initial operating expenses.
We are planning to have at least 30,000 paper cup production per day i.e. around 9,00,000 paper cups in
per month.

We are currently seeking Rs. 13,00,000 in startup funding in addition to our personal investment of Rs.
12,00,000. These Funds will be used to secure a location, purchase machine and office equipments, and
for initial operating expenses. We are expecting daily sales revenue of Rs. Rs. 35040 and yearly sales
revenue of Rs. 1,09,32,480.

Structure
Venture Six Paper Cup Pvt Ltd. will operate as a partnership between six people: Mamata, Pradip,
Prashant, Pritisha, Prakriti and Roshan.

Pradeep Limbu will play the role of an Executive Head and Supplier Relation, Roshan Kumar Sunar as the
Site Manager, Mamata Limbu as Employee Management and Sales Head,Prashant Sharma as
Documentation, Technology and Accounts, Pritisha Acharya as Marketing Head and PrakritiDahal as
Public Relation Manager.

Concept
Venture Six Paper CupPvt Ltd. is in the paper cup manufacturing industry to manufacture a wide range of
paper cups for both individual and corporate clients with the mindset that paper cup can be reused and can
reduce global warming . We are set to provide services to a wide range of clientele inside the Kathmandu
valley.

Our vision is to become a leading brand in the paper cup manufacturing industry in Kathmandu valley and
to establish a one stop paper cup manufacturing company.

Our mission is to establish a national standard paper cup manufacturing company whose products will not
only be used by small and big corporations in Kathmandu as well as all over Nepal in near future but also
be export to other countries of the world if possible.
Shortterm andLongtermGoal
Our intention of starting a paper cup manufacturing company is to build a standard company in Kathmandu
valley and expand it to other major cities like Pokhara, Biratnagar,Mahendranagar, Nepalgunj and so on.

When we achieve the goal of acquiring major cities in 5 years and establishing the firm as a national brand,
we will focus on our long term goal of exporting products to other countries.

Also, we would try to add two more vehicles (cargo mini) to upgrade and enhance delivery services to next
level.

Location
We are planning to set up the factory at Balkot, Bhaktapur. As the rent in Balkot is affordable and the
distance to main market, airports, big restaurants is within fifteen kilometers which saves a few liters of
diesel.

The rent for the factory is supposed to be Rs. 20,000. We will be signing a rental agreement which will be
of 3 years and after that 5% increment in every 2 years as per the agreement.

The space required for our setup is 250 sq. ft., the plant will cover 50 sq ft .

In the long run we would like to purchase our land set up our own plant and warehouse within the valley
or maybe outside the valley.
THE MARKET PLACE
Marketsegment
Our company venture six’s goal is to sell our product in valley region at beginning of our working
days. There are limitless possibilities of market in this sector. We can start from small tea stall to
medium cafes to large multi-star hotel and airline. There are hundreds of cafes and small tea stalls
in this region. Due to the huge population size and weather Consumption of tea is done in
excessive amount in this region.

Customers
Venture six is an infant industry in this market region and our main market is small tea distribution
stalls and some chiyaaddas. While gathering feedback from peoples from some tea stalls we found
that they also support the idea of reducing plastic waste by the use of paper cup and they also
prefer their drink maintaining its temperature for long time in paper cup. We will mainly start from
tea stalls then further during first or second quarter we are planning to target cafes with our product
as well.

Markettrends
In last couple of years we can observe the bent of people towards products which is more
environments friendly and something that can be either reused or recycled and we can notice that
people are more interested in products like we are presenting in front of them. In short we can say
that people are keener in our product in the present scenario.

Competition
There is already some of the company producing paper cup in the market and many other small industries
trying to consume some of their piece of pie of this market.

Plastic cups is still our competition although our product is cheap and environment friendly, many people
don’t know about our products since our product is somewhat new and industry producing plastic cups
are of a bigger scale and they are maintaining huge middleman commissions.

Venture six is new industry in the cup segment of market and we as newly born company promising a lot
to put upon a table. Our product is environment friendly and also cheap as well. And further it can also be
recycled and reused. So generally we will have environmental and cost advantage over other.

Opportunities
As we can notice that there is a wave of people making a mentality of saving nature, going green so we
have the huge market opportunities to obtain those customers. And the possible market is already huge in
this sector and many industries are not in this field for right now.

Challenges
Although we don’t have many direct competitors for now but this industry is comparatively cheap to start
and run and by seeing growth of industry like ours many new investors might be interested and came up
with huge capital causing a threat to us forcing us to move towards new market or to segment our product.
But possible market of this product and certain market share is enough to keep up going and to motivate us
to provide best outcome in market.

As per the study we can observe that what we are going to offer in market is very suitable according to the
current scenario and many customers are excited to be our customers and we are pretty sure that we can

Aside from quality, pricing is one of the key factors that gives leverage to companies, it is normal for
consumers to go to places where they can get paper cups at cheaper prices which is why big players in the
industry will always attract loads of clients.

We know we don’t have the capacity to compete with these companies but we will ensure that the prices
and quality of all our paper cups are competitive with what is obtainable in the industry.

Marketing Strategy
Online Promotion:
Venture six is planning to engage with customers on Instagram, Facebook, Tik-tok, Twitter and YouTube.
As in today’s generation e-mail plays significant role in communication, venture six will communicate
through its official email and an official website. We will use social media to generate customers and
cooperation’s interest and update our social media on a regular basis.

Offline/ Traditional Promotion:


We will use pamphlets, word-of-mouth marketing and public relations will approach to media to a extent
that we can advertise in newspaper and radio stations.
No Direct Marketing but distributor: we will not be focusing on direct marketing rather we will go with
the distributor style of marketing. We will provide certain amount of commission to distributor that is of
20% and distributor will look up the work of marketing

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Our team is formed by six young and energetic members all from management background. We all are
excellent in the aspect of managing any organization and bringing out best output from what we are
engaged in.

Roshan Kumar Sunar –Executive Head and supplier relation site manager

Roshan Kumar Sunar is a BBA pass out student with the excellent academics career. From his college days he was
very keen to do something on his own and since then he was passionate about this idea. Beside in-depth research
about this paper cup industry he doesn’t have any specialization about this industry. But he has very good human
relation skills and good knowledge of market and has the ability to stand the ups and down in the market. Here he
will manage the overall production on general level and management of raw materials and also maintain proper
relationship with suppliers. Also the head of the production plant and also manages all day today work.

Mamata Limbu- Employee management, sales and marketing and public relation

Mamata a BBA graduate will be the head of all the employee department and sales. It’s her job to ensure the quality
of product which will go out in the market and ensure it is of the best quality and all of the employees will report to
her about their concerns while working with us and she also will jeep the morale of employee high inside of the
plant. She will also look up the relation we will be making with our distributor channel and monitor how they
conduct their work.

Prashant Sharma- Documentation, Technology and accounts

Prashant a BBA graduate will manage all the work related to the documentation at the start and during operation
like registration of the firm along with all others work permit and employee related paperwork. And he will also look
up all technological aspect of plant and website of the firm and online orders and inventory record management and
books of account of business.

Inspections and Quality Control


Venture Six will strictly adhere to the standards set by the government in the process of manufacturing
Paper Cups from procuring high quality food grade raw materials to hygienic methods of packaging, as we
know that the satisfaction of the customers is the foundation of any business.
Pollution Control
The technology adopted for making paper cups is eco- friendly. Cup forming process is totally
automatically done by the machine, only feeding and packaging involves manual work. The scrap papers
created out of this manufacturing process also can be sold for recycled paper converters. Hence there is no
chance of any pollution out of this industry.

Helper will to the basic labor work in our business starting with operating paper cup machine and storing
and delivering final product to the customers.
