Introduction
Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) is one of India’s well-
planned, greenfield and smart industrial cities which is
being developed over an area of 10,000 acres near
Aurangabad, as a part of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial
Corridor (DMIC). The integrated township will be
congregation of office spaces, residences, hotels, large &
small retail, hospitals, schools, parks, entertainment hubs
and lots more. AURIC’s development and implementation
is being undertaken by Aurangabad Industrial Township
Limited (AITL).

The master plan for AURIC- Shendra has identified a


Central Business District (CBD). AITL has built the District
Administration Building – AURIC Hall within this CBD on a
specific 2.77 acre land parcel with access from two 30
meter wide road right-of-way.

Key Features
The AURIC Hall is the first built development within the AURIC and is intended to not only house the administrative functions of the
AURIC but will also operate initially as the Anchor building that will cater to needs of staff, visitors, and will also operate as a sales center.

Developed as a key Landmark Building for the AURIC, the AURIC Hall fulfills the following characteristics:
➢ A building with a climate responsive design incorporating sustainable design practices to achieve IGBC Gold performance
rating
➢ A building designed to a standard that is fit for a Grade ‘A’ modern office building
➢ A functionally efficient building meeting all relevant building code requirements as per the applicable DCR.
➢ Well integrated with natural features and landscape within the site to create an interesting blend of built form and semi
covered or open spaces while meeting access, parking and other on-site requirements
➢ Centralized air-conditioning

• MS Kadri Consultant Pvt Ltd. is selected to design the AURIC Hall Building
• SPCPL is awarded the contract and mobilized on site on December 2016
• AURIC hall has received Times National Award for Best Office Building &
Best in Architecture
