INTRODUCTION

 A gadget is a small technological object (devices or
appliances) that has a particular function, but often thought of as
a novelty. Gadgets are invariably considered to be more
unusually or cleverly designed the normal technological objects
at the time of their invention. Gadgets are also sometimes
named as gizmos.

A lifestyle without the modern gadgets sounds quite

a hard life to live. But let’s look deep and analyze both sides of
this. Life e -modernized would be a time consuming one
requiring a lot of time and effort.

Technology is good but has also brought people to

height of extreme convenience where we easily forget our root
of simplicity.

 Life without gadgets is simply miserable! We cannot
think of a day without electronic devices. The day begins with a
digital alarm clock and the word ‘digital’ travels with us
throughout the day – wherever we go and whatever we do.

These electronic gadgets have already left a huge impact

on our lifestyle; people of all ages are using different types of
gadgets. It is now practically impossible to live life without
these items; managing to-do list to maintaining all contacts, all
our activities are controlled by gadgets and gizmos.

 CELL PHONES:-

Cell phones lie at the center of our life; reminders, to-do’s,

contacts, emails – everything can be tracked with a latest cell
phone set. Music lovers can buy a mobile phone with good
sound quality, radio and enough memory to store songs. iPods
are also quite popular among music lovers these days.

iPhones, Kindles and iPads are two latest innovations that

have huge potential. iPhones do not need any explanation here;
all are aware of this magical invention. Kindle is the e-book
reader that can store and read e-books; the digital books are easy
to store and easy to carry. With an e-book reader digital books

are going to be more popular in future. Good for the
environment!

COMPUTERS :-

A computer is an electronic gadget which is used to store,

retrieve and process data. The other version of the computers is
notebook computer, palmtop computer, mini-computer, etc.
Computer being essential gadgets in the daily life of the modern
society, it helps the human beings to solve their various
problems easily.

Laptop computer is the compact version of computer. This can
be operated by a person at a time as it is required anywhere. It is
perform specific tasks as like as a desktop computer.

Advantages of modern gadgets:-

 A faster way to search for information (viz. the internet).

 Sometimes a more effective way of learning.
 Prepares students for the globalized world where
computer literacy is essential.
 Easier way of communication.
 Helps student if they have difficulties.
 More accessible.
 A larger information sources.

DISADVANTAGES

Disadvantages of modern gadgets:-

Humans tend to be lazy.

Computer games such as online games divert the youth’s
attention from study.

 Can be used for procrastination.

CONCLUSION

From the observation it is calculated that the basic need of

a man has risen from 3 to 4 i.e. food, cloth, shelter and the
fourth need is gadgets. Life without gadgets is simply miserable!
We cannot think of a day without electronic devices .These
electronic gadgets have already left a huge impact on our
lifestyle; people of all ages are using different types of gadgets.
It is now practically impossible to live life without these items.

Gadgets are help to make our life easy ,but frequent

dependency on gadgets made us slave towards them ,which
reduces our ability .We have compelled the homo-sapiens
erectus to be handicapped without gadgets because of its
excessive use.

SUGGESTIONS

 Excessive use of electronic gadgets may have adverse

affect our health and we need to be careful.

 Take the help of gadget, whenever it is necessary. More

you use your brain, sharper it will be.

 More use of gadgets curtails our physical and mental

ability, so dependency on electronic gadgets reduces .It
should be used whenever it is essential. Addiction of
anything is harmful; same is the case in this study.
