INSTRUCTIONS
2. Write your Index Number on the front page and inside the back flap of the Answer Book.
3. If you need more paper, ask the supervisor for extra sheets. Tie these sheets inside the Answer
Book at the appropriate places.
5. Unless otherwise stated, all rounding off should be corrected to two decimal places.
Rounding off decimal answers should be done only at the final step.
6. There are two sections in this paper. Both sections are compulsory.
7. You are required to start each question in Section B of the Answer Book on a new page.
Note: The required tables and formulae you will need during the examination are given on
pages 19 to 24.
SUMMARY OF QUESTIONS
The multiple-choice questions in this part are all compulsory. Each question is worth 1 mark.
