In response to the Announcement, the Literature and Arts Cluster, teaching the subjects 21st
Century Literature from the Philippines and the World (Grade 11) and Creative Writing (Grade
12), will respond by doing the following:
For pre-requisite subjects, extension of submission will be until Nov 20, 2020;
taking of missed assessments will be scheduled within Nov 9-20, 2020. The
schedule of online assessment per subject will be emailed to the concerned
learners.
This applies to Creative Writing (Grade 12): There is no need for a simultaneous online
assessment because all the summative assessments are submissions.
For pre-requisite subjects, extension of submission will be until Nov 20, 2020;
taking of missed assessments will be scheduled within Nov 9-20, 2020. The
schedule of online assessment per subject will be emailed to the concerned
learners.
This applies to 21st Century Literature (Grade 11): Learners who are given continuous
differentiated follow-through who have missed Summative Assessment 1 and/or 2 will be given
a scheduled simultaneous assessment that will be set by each subject teacher for all his/her
affected students. The Final Summative Assessment and Authentic Assessment Tasks are
submissions only; there is no need for simultaneous assessment schedule.
In the spirit of cura personalis, the clusters are encouraged to continue the
differentiated follow through for learners based on the guidelines submitted by
the clusters to the AD-Academics and AD-Administration. The identified
learners will be given another extension for their submission, upon the advice
of their respective subject teachers. The Cluster Leader will consolidate the list
and details of all identified learners per subject and will endorse the list to the
AD-Academics and AD-Administration, cc: Strand Chairpersons.
The cluster has identified different cases/scenarios and determined the appropriate course
of action.
The list of learners who will be given continuous differentiated follow-through are in the
accompanying file.
