Reported speech II

“Too many people spend money they earned..to buy things they don't want..to
impress people that they don't like”. -Will Rogers

I asked my mom what she taught about this quote and she says how people are
too obsessed with money and how everyone is practically spending their whole
life trying to earn money and trying to prove something to someone. She says
that some people literally forget about their family and friends because all they
can think about is money. I must say I agree. Then I decided to play her a song
called “ Money” by The Beatles. She says that the song talks about how money
can’t buy everything and some things in life are priceless, but that money is still
important and hard to live without. Then I played her another song ”Can’t buy
me love”. She says that the song is about the true value of love and how love is
not about materialism. I would have to say that I agree with everything she says
and that she is absolutely wright!
