Journalism Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Our Journalism Coordinators will work across BBC Sports News – although the substantive
role will be based within TV, you may be asked to work in other areas from time to time.

Across the department we would expect the Journalism Coordinator to fulfil a range of tasks:

Continuous output – Cutting audio/video for output, creating graphics for on air output,
identifying and developing social media content for output. Developing creative and original
approaches to our storytelling.

Planning - Planning content, looking at what sports news stories need to be covered,
deciding what resources need to be allocated to them and updating and maintaining the
online diaries with relevant information.

Production support – Booking guests for programmes and compiling briefs for presenters,
arranging payments of guests and contributors where necessary. They will also work closely
with the department’s leadership team, providing general production and administrative
support where required.

Requirements:

It is essential our Journalism Coordinator has experience of preparing journalistic briefs for
presenters and production teams. A confident ability in using digital recording and editing
equipment are a requirement as is a good phone manner with confidence to ring sports guests
and contributors and have appropriate conversations. Some weekend and overnight working will
be required.

Assistant Script Editor

Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities of the role include supporting the script department and advising on all
continuity related issues, giving clear and concise notes. You will also provide support to the
Script Producer and Senior Script Editor as necessary.

Throughout the production your role will be to ensure that all episodes are checked for
continuity and to advise Script Editors accordingly, ensuring the consistent treatment of
established characters within storylines and episodes.

Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of drama with practical experience of
television production techniques and an informed interest in drama production specifically.
An enthusiasm and interest in popular entertainment, especially EastEnders is essential, as
is experience of script reading and writing script reports with an ability to demonstrate sound
editorial judgement and sensitivity, both verbally and on paper.

Film Production Internship

Responsibilities:

● Propose, research, and draft video concepts for our social media accounts and brand
partnerships
● Produce and edit a variety of videos across our YouTube Channel and platform
● Work with PR and Content/Community teams to brainstorm fresh and creative video
ideas for improved engagement
● Video production workflow for to promote best practices and standards
● Video/Film Production On-set management and assistant

Requirements:

● Diploma in Media and Communications, or equivalent work experience in video or


film production
● Experience with creative software (Adobe effects, Photoshop and illustrator)
● Able to edit on Adobe Premiere Pro
● Experience with basic audio editing is a plus (Adobe Audition)
● Strong work ethics, discipline, and willingness to learn

Series Producer

Responsibilities:
The nature of television drama production can involve long and unpredictable work patterns,
and pressure to meet tight schedules. There must be no restriction on the ability of the
postholder to travel within the UK or abroad, subject to the BBC's Conditions of Service
Code of Practice and equal opportunities policies.

The postholder will be expected to carry out any or all of the following duties, the precise
nature of which will be determined as appropriate.

Requirements:

● It’s really important you have the necessary skills we’re looking for. Can you
demonstrate:
● Experience of producing a long-running show is essential, along with a strong track
record of drama producing.
● In-depth awareness of audiences and their needs, and the ability to respond with
original and viable production ideas.
● A passion for drama and a knowledge of Holby City.
● A strong working knowledge and experience of television drama production
processes, with an understanding of the roles of production, editorial and resource
personnel.

Digital Video Producer

Responsibilities:

● Produce and deliver exceptional, engaging motion pictures for top industry leaders
from around the globe using Premiere pro & Adobe creative cloud suite.
● Show significant research while always keeping the client’s company guidelines in
mind.
● Resource images, video and music, from our range of sources when required to do
so.
● Illustrate & Incorporate engaging motion graphics into your video workflow.
● Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to produce Social media videos to help
drive key engagement and growth metrics across BizClik Media’s suite of social
media platforms.
● Stay up to date with emerging video production innovation, consumer trends and
social media design principles.
Requirements:

● Minimum 1-year professional experience with Premiere Pro


● Must obtain a relevant Qualification at BA(Hons) or equivalent
● Competence in other Adobe Creative Suite programs, particularly After effects &
Illustrator
● Experience of asset management and shared media storage systems
● Ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is forever expanding
● Good understanding of audio mixing, Colour correction and grading footage to
ensure consistency
● Work well under pressure while still producing high-quality content with short
turnaround times.
● Strong Cinematography skills with a wide range of experience with industry-standard
equipment
● Experience in creating various types of video content ranging from promotional,
explainer, social, webinars & roundtables

Video Production Editor

Responsibilities:

● Filming and editing video content for both client-based and independent projects that
includes interviews, webinars, roundtables, live cases, educational symposia and
adverts.
● Broadcasting / live streaming of projects, that may require an operational awareness
of servers, cameras and use of a vision mixer.
● Creation of assets such as animations or motion graphics to support production of
client content.
● Creation of design assets including, but not limited to, banners, thumbnails, flyers,
and media packs.
● To ensure that all content meets Radcliffe’s editorial tone and style, and is of the
highest standard before publication.
● To work with the Project, Editorial and Marketing Teams for the development and
delivery of client-related projects.
● To update website content as required.
● The management of Radcliffe’s YouTube channels, including video uploads, creation
of thumbnails, playlist creation, and ensuring videos are accurately tagged.
● To attend international congress meetings pertinent to projects throughout the year.
● Regular international travel is required.
Requirements:

● A suitable qualification in audio/video production with a minimum of one year’s


industry experience.
● A working knowledge of the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After
Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Avid Pro Tools,
Telestream Wirecast.
● Knowledge of audio-visual working practices and terminology including, but not
limited to, correct exposure using ISO, shutter speed, aperture; white balance, focus,
use of lightning; scanning methods (progressive/interlaced); framing/composition;
and audio gain staging.
● Basic knowledge of HTML is preferred but not essential. In-house training will be
provided.

Responsibilities:

The Insights Assistant will support the Commercial Insights team to work across BBC
Studios to ensure maximum strategic and financial return, including:

● Collaborating with all areas of insight to articulate the full 360-degree view of the
market, customer landscape, content and the audience.
● Utilising various Social, Digital and TV data sources holistically, demonstrating
proficiency in exporting, organising, interpreting and presenting data to provide

Requirements:

Social Media Apprentice
Responsibilities:

● Managing and growing their social media accounts across multiple channels
including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.

Responsibilities:

● Providing ad hoc support to the sales teams using industry tools such as PAMCo,
JICREG, TGI and Google Analytics
● Analysing and interpreting readership, consumer and digital data
● Regular updating of insight materials for use by the sales teams
● Producing a small number of regular reports for the Senior Management Team
● Helping with questionnaire design and building presentations
● Supporting the panel manager on the YourVoice panel – including designing and

We are looking for a number of media account executives to join our growing agency
across a number of client verticals including Financial Services, Public Health, Media,
Technology and Gaming.

This role is a chance to gain a strong grounding across all the core media channels
that we manage for clients, to learn about different sectors and to build out the
foundational skills for media planning & buying and client management.

Requirements:
If you're good with numbers and have strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills, this could be

Media Assistant

Responsibilities:

The key areas of responsibility will include:

● Optimising Paid Search campaigns across a variety of clients

● Developing ad copy and conducting A/B tests

● Driving forward performance of Paid Search activity by using conversion data
