Third Method of Screw Extraction

The third method of screw extraction is to weld a nut to the screw end and then removing the
screw by unscrewing it. Sometimes, you may require to add additional metal to the end of
the broken screw before a nut can be welded to it. In such cases, care must be taken to
prevent depositing metal on the adjoining machine component.
