 Periodic Maintenance Operation Manual

A. Over view

Using the periodic maintenance screens makes it easy to manage consumables that are to be replaced periodically.
Setting the name and service life of consumables, and the countdown methodf to be used for them enables counting
of the remaining service time according to the specified countdown method and displaying of the result.

a1. Screen configuration

1) Status screen Display item names, remaining service time, countdown status, and lets you specify item names.
2) Setting screenLets you specify service life, remaining service time, and count type.
3) Machine system menu scree Enables registering the names of consumables used in the machine.
4) NC system menu screenDisplays the names of registered consumables used in the NC.

B. Screen display and setting

b1. Press the function key.

b2. Press the continuous menu key serval time. Soft key [MAINTE] appears.

b3. Press soft key [MAINTE]. A periodic maintenance screen appears.

C. Status screen display and Setting

c1. Item addition
1) Move the cusor to blank column.

2) Fill item name into blank column.

And then press [INPUT] soft key.

3) Press the [CHANGE] soft key. Setting screen will be appears.

4)Set life time into 'LIFE' column of your target item. And press the [TYPE] soft key, then select count type
using soft key as below red box.

5) Description about 'Count Type'

Soft key Meaning Display
[NO CNT] Not counting -
[ALL] Always count All times
[PWR ON] Count while the power is supplied Power-on time
[RUN] Count while loperation is underway Operating
[CUT] Count while cutting is underway Cutting

c2. Item clear

1) To erase the registered data, place the cusor on the target item namee. And press the [CLEAR] soft key.

2) Press the [EXEC] key to delete item

name which you selected.

3) When you press the [EXEC] soft key, selected item will be delete as below picture.

D. Periodic maintenance items file down load

d1. Make a enviroment that it can be unloaded(CF CARD -> NC)

1) PWE = 1
2) I/O Channel=4 (Parameter 20 change to 4)
3) Select EDIT mode

d2. Insert CF Card which has periodic maintenance items into PCMCIA slot.

d3. Press the function key.

d4. Press the continuous menu key serval time(may be 3 times). Soft key [MAINTE] appears.

d5. Press soft key [MAINTE]. A periodic maintenance screen appears.

d6. Press soft key [OPRT]. [READ] and [PUNCH] menus appears.

d7. Press soft key [READ]. Then press soft key [EXEC]. d8. Items will be uploaded from CF card as below picture.
