Madrasah Education Program is the best way and solution on countering the violent

extremism in Mindanao, there are many factors that can prove that Madrasah schools are not
promoting or not upbringing an extremist individuals. Madrasah will breed a healthy society
where there is a respect and love to each other, it does make people in the community to learn
about Islam and make it as their way and guide of life, it will help the community to develop not
literally in infrastructure but in morality and dignity to the society that will makes them unite and
will results development in mutual understanding to each other and respect, it will makes people
understand that the government is doing their job in making Mindanao developed and secured
because Madrasah promotes Solidarity to the leaders where they lived, it will also teach and
incorporate to the mind of the students(Morit) the true meaning and way off Jihad because some
Morit applying Jihad without enough knowledge about it, knowledge in the sense that there are
things that needs to be consider in jihad, the first they need to do jihad(Fight for Allah’s sake is
the Jihadul Nafs(Fighting the own desirement) because it is a fight that every one of us must win
and overcome.

Government negligence of duties and responsibilities is the main reason why there are
extremist people in Mindanao, Mindanao need more great people in sharing ideas on how to
developed and used the resources of Mindanao (intelligence, human, agricultural, industrial and
employment), people tends to look for a way to be productive/useful in the eyes of others which
is to a student or employed. But because Mindanao lacks of fund and have not been given a
chance to develop then most of the people lives in Mindanao don’t have job and don’t even go to
school because the lack of books, teachers and facilities. Government needs to focus on the
development of Mindanao, they need to put a infrastructure to give jobs and employed the people
in Mindanao, they need to build schools and provide books and equipment so that youth will
have a free access of education with quality that will make them dream and be a productive
citizen of the country. Government must give opportunities to the agriculture business in
Mindanao that will makes more revenue and open jobs or the people in Mindanao, the lack of
intervention of government to the issues in Mindanao and lack of support will makes the people
in Mindanao be extreme.

Religion Islam is not promoting extremism (terrorism), it promotes peace and solidarity
to the society, by the use of Madrasah we can incorporate to the mind of young individual about
the teaching of Islam and make it as their guide in their daily lie, but without help of the
government Madrasah will not be enough in countering the extremism in Mindanao, the
government must build more buildings and classroom for madrasahbut if they don’t enough
budget then let Madrasah used the Schools, the government must give fund to the Madrasah in
printing materials and books for the students and Ustadhs and by that the government will see
and witness the ideology that will be teach to the Morit(Student).
