II. OBJECTIVES
Introduce non-swimmers to water and establish an understanding of safety
Educate students how to swim properly
Develop and progress water confidence
Establish an understanding of basic core aquatic skills
Encourage independent movement
Develop skills through enjoyment, fun and self-discovery
III. PROGRAMS/ACTIVITIES
This swimming training program 2016 is a two-day event. The activities and
programs are stated below:
Day 1

Part 1: Registration of the participants.
Part 2. Opening program
Part 3: Orientation about swimming.

Part 3: This event is divided into 5 different stations wherein each station has specific
topics to discuss and also to have demonstrations and simulations. And participants are
also grouped into 5 wherein they attend different stations to pass. At the end of every
station they will get flags as a sign that they finished the station.
Station 1: Non-swimmers and swimming safety
Station 2: How to swim properly
Station 3: Water confidence
Station 4: Basic core aquatic skills
Station 5: Independent movement

PART 5: Awarding of certificate of participation.
IV. BUDGET
The budget for this event is from the registration fee which is Php. 150.00 per participant
and also a budget coming from the Mapeh Club fund.
