is designed to provide employment to trained youths under

Star Rating of Coal Mines The Ministry of Coal The Ministry of Coal (MoC) launched a web portal
(MoC) “Star Rating of Coal Mines”, to promote green, safe and
sustainable mining practices. Union Minister of Coal &
Mines Shri Pralhad Joshi launched the web portal in
New Delhi, India. The web portal enables all
operational coal mining across India for self-rating and
Coal Controller’s Organization (CCO) will evaluate and

diesel will be delivered within the period of 8 hours,

delivered, automated billing.
Incredible India Shri Prahlad Singh The Minister of State (MoS) for Tourism & Culture,
Patel Shri Prahlad Singh Patel has launched the
multilingual version of ‘Incredible India’ website and
mobile app in New Delhi with the aim to provide more
information about India’s tourist destinations,
attractions, experiences, and where the value lies. The
website was earlier hosted in only 2 languages

“Corona Kavach”. The app was jointly developed by
the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology (MeitY) & the Union Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The app uses a
person’s location to assess whether they are in the
high-risk geographical zone or not.

health) app called ‘Aarogya Setu (A bridge of health)’ to
connect health services with the people to fight the

of Housing and App, a famous grievance redressal platform for
Urban Affairs people under the ambit of the Swachh Bharat Mission

not for use by government officers/officials for
official purposes.

National Infomatics (NITI) Aayog Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amitabh
Centre (NIC) Kant stated that Centre’s mobile app, Aarogya Setu,
which was developed by National Infomatics Centre
(NIC) under Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology (MeitY) for tracking COVID-19 patients,
has become the world’s fastest app to reach 50
million (5 crore) downloads in just 13 days. The App
is available in 11 languages.
Kisan Rath Narendra Singh The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers
Tomar Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar, has launched farmer
friendly mobile application named ‘Kisan Rath’ with
tagline “Kisan ka apna Vahan” to facilitate the
movement of crops. The app has been developed by
the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and will
connect 5 lakh trucks & 20,000 tractors for
transporting farm produce.

initiative is to enable real-time e-governance delivery
and answer citizen queries. The platform is a multi-
lingual platform, where Hindi is used as the second
most language after English.
Saiyam The Pune Municipal Corporation, the civic body that
governs Pune City, Maharashtra has developed a
mobile application called ‘Saiyam’ under the Smart
City Mission (SCM) to ensure effective monitoring of
home quarantine citizens, who have recently returned
- from international trips and those discharged after
treatment for COVID-19.

Institute (CRRI), a CSIR lab, has come up with an
app called Kisan Sabha to resolve the problems
related to the agricultural supply chain. The
primary objective of Kisan Sabha is to connect
farmers to supply chain and freight transportation
management system.
‘Bharatmarket’ Confederation of All Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), the
(www.bharatemarket.in) India Traders leading advocate for small traders and businesses
(CAIT) in India, in association with several technology
partners, will soon launch a national e-commerce
marketplace ‘bharatmarket’
(www.bharatemarket.in) for all retail traders in
India. CAIT has pledged to connect 95% of India’s
retail business in this marketplace with the initial
collaboration of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and
Industry to implement the Prime Minister’s vision
of Digital India and Digital Payments.
“Paisa Bolega” and “BharatPe BharatPe The BharatPe, a Merchant payment and a leading
Balance” network provider launched two voice-based
applications named “Paisa Bolega” and “BharatPe
Balance” for the account holders to access
transactions and balance using without touching
the phones during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aarogya Setu Mitr Private-public A new private-public partnership (PPP) initiative
partnership (PPP) called Aarogya Setu Mitr, available on the
Aarogaya Setu app, will offer free online COVID-
19-related consultation from the Tata Group, Tech
Mahindra and Swasth, which is a collaboration of
other related entities. Aarogya Setu Mitr will be a
separate site and won’t be able to access
individual data from Aarogya Setu. The three
private companies listed for free tele-consultation
are Swasth, Tata Bridgital Health, which is a
healthcare initiative of the Tata Group, and
Connectsense Telehealth, a platform from Tech
Mahindra.

SwissCovid Swiss The developers at Swiss based EPFL & ETH Zurich
has developed the “SwissCovid”, first of its kind
for digital contact tracing app utilizing the
Exposure Notification API (Application
Programming Interface) of Apple and Google and
based on a decentralized approach to track the
spread of COVID-19. Latvia also developed a

similar app “Apturi Covid” based on the Exposure
Notification API.
CHAMPIONS Narendra Modi PM Narendra Modi has launched CHAMPIONS
(PM) (Creation and Harmonious Application of Modern
Processes for Increasing the Output and National
Strength) to help the smaller MSMEs (Micro, Small
and Medium Enterprises) by resolving their
grievances and the complaints received on the
portal will also be redressed within the prescribed
limit. The CHAMPIONS has been linked to
CPGRAMS (Centralized Public Grievance Redress
and Monitoring System) of the Government of
India.
Aarogyapath Ministry of Health Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has

Services Tax (CGST) and customs offices across
India at New Delhi. The e-Office is a Mission Mode
Project (MMP) under the e-Governance of India. e-
Office has been developed by the National
Informatics Centre (NIC), and supported by the
Department of Administrative Reforms and Public
Grievances (DARPG).
SATYABHAMA Pralhad Joshi Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Mines has
launched SATYABHAMA (Science and Technology
Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Mining
Advancement) Portal, developed by National
Informatics Centre (NIC), Mines Informatics
Division. The Portal, integrated with NGO Darpan
Portal of NITI Aayog, will promote research and
development in the mining and minerals sector.
eBloodServices Harsh Vardhan Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has
launched ‘eBloodServices ‘mobile app developed
by the ERaktkosh team of C-DAC (Development of
Advanced Computing) India for easy access to
blood needed for transfusion. The mobile app is an
initiative of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS)
with the aim of ‘Safe blood saves lives.’

(GKRA) Tomar Development launched a web portal of the Garib
Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan (GKRA) through video

(ASEEM) portal, to improve the information
flow and bridge the demand-supply gap in
the skilled workforce market to help skilled
people find sustainable livelihood

Centre of Solutions Portal for Industry, Research and
Automotive Education (ASPIRE). The key objective of this
Technology portal is to enhance the technological
(ICAT) capability of Indian automotive sector
through exchange of knowledge & expertise.
It was launched to facilitate the initiative of
the Department of Heavy Industry (DHI),

KURMA (ITCAN) in Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of
