The new online learning set-up for this class had me optimistic, since I am working full-time

with projects schedule deadlines nearing. Of course, there is the scare of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This new set-up of both online asynchronous and synchronous type of learning is best for me.
Likewise, I am eager to learn about this subject because our construction business have had
problems with our audited financial statements that we are being examined practically every year. It
is a critical part in our line of work since we deal mostly with government projects. I expect to learn a
crucial skill in checking our financial statements to prevent any disallowances in the future. The
challenging part with this new online learning set-up for me is my travel outside of the province since
we also have projects in other areas. Even though we are speaking of distance learning when I am
not in the comforts of our home or our office, I believe the environment would not be conducive to
learning. To overcome this challenge, I will have to rearrange my current work schedule to fit every
class and give myself enough time to study every day.
