Lady Gaga as Ally in A Star is Born

What makes an actor truly great? The actor's job is to bring a scripted
character to life. Acting technique is paramount to anyone wanting to be a serious
actor. It's quite easy to imitate a character or even an emotion, but where's the
depth in that? How can you sustain or repeat again what you might have found
intuitively? Do you even know what you did or how you did it?

The technique, however, will help you find a character, which in turn
informs how you approach the text/script/written word. How do you bring the
dialogue alive? How do you know what choices to make? The goal of a trained
actor is to become a fully realised three-dimensional character, with a rich
backstory. I must believe the character you play is truthful and not a cliche, a
caricature, a thin external representation of someone who barely resembles a
human being. I must believe what you say is real and that you're not reciting,
spouting or commenting. Like what richard bolelawsky say “To imitate is
wrong. to create is right”, a great actor does not pretend to be someone else.
They just act as realistic as possible.

Who is Lady Gaga

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28, 1986, in

Yonkers, New York, to Cynthia and Joseph Germanotta. Now known as Lady
Gaga (the inspiration for her name came from the Queen song "Radio Ga-Ga"),
she has become an international pop star. And the movie “A Star is Born” is her
debute as an actress.

Why her acting is good

Even though “A Star is Born” is her first movie, she successfully play her
role as Ally –A new girl who became a great singer. She doesn’t seems like play
another role. She just become herself and she did it very well. As an audience, we
would see her as herself, not Ally.

Scene from movie and analysis

 In this scene, she was touched because her man made a song for her. As an
audience, we could feel her feeling just by watching her face. She perfectly
portrayed ‘a touched’ face.

In this scene, she perform in grammy dedicated to her man who passed
away. As an audience, we could cry just by seeing her performance. Not just her
face but her voice too.
 In conclusion, we can conclude that lady gaga’s acting is good. She could
portray her character without making too much improvement. She just became
herself and it works perfectly.
