Activities:
i. Pre-Lesson Activity 1
1. Teacher sticks the flashcards around
the room.
2. Teacher says food words at random.
Eg. Pizza, Sandwich, Apple
3. Pupils point to the correct flashcards.
ii. Lesson Development Activity 2
1. Pupils use the numbers under the
food pictures to complete the
crossword.
2. Pupils copy the words from the word
bank.
3. Teacher tells the whole class to read
out their answer together.
iii. Post-Lesson Activity 3
1. Teacher carries out a drawing
dictation with the pupils.
2. Teacher says some food he/she likes
and dislikes and his/her favourite
food.Eg. I like sandwich and I like
chicken. I like apple and bananas,
too. My favourite food is pizza. I don’t
like steak.
3. Pupils listen and draw the things the
teacher says he/she likes on a piece
of paper. Pupils do not draw any
items the teacher says he/she
dislikes.
