Q: 1- How do you link the findings of your final project of ARM with recommendations? What
strategic suggestions do you put forward? Which theory of academic concept supports it?

Findings:

Employee loyalty is all about how employee engagement has been done by company via rewarding
them. So, we saw in the brutal situation of Covid-19. Monetary rewards helps boost employees
engagement at workplace. Monetary rewards are such as like bonuses, volunteering, efforts by
managers etc. Manager’s engagement with slower staff in work proved high moral for employees. The
needy employees got bonus in money. Bonuses were given on extra work and smart work, monetary
rewards engaged employees. Whereas non-monetary rewards did the best because it was consist of
employee of the month, appreciation etc.

So, findings and analysis were simple in terms of both rewards with innovative workplace behavior, the
HR changed their policies due to new norm which is Covid-19. SOP’s needed to be followed for that
there were rewards kept for good employees.

Suggestions are work from home must be continued we learnt many things during Covid-19. People
around world will learn many new things which were not normal before, also we will able to think Pro-
active in near future. Model summary and statics shown in our research proved that variables and
employee engagement via bonuses was very strong. We have collected data from different sources and
selected viable candidates for this kind of discussion. All the variables have the positive impact on
Employee engagement and therefore organizations should pay more attention when allocating these
benefits.

Q: 2-What type of Quantitative research methodology will you choose to conduct applied
research about “Improving Employees Online Engagement during post Covid-19 new normal in
Pakistani educational institutions”. Describe with reason the data collection tool(s), data
analysis techniques, and stakeholders of this research.

Research type:
The research design will be:

 Descriptive (most commonly used)


 Comparative descriptive design (it examines difference in variables in two or more groups that
occurs naturally)

Data Collection tools:

 Interviews
 Questionnaire and surveys
 Observations
 Documents and researches which are conducted before as secondary data
 Focus groups

Spss will be used to show results what we learnt in research.

Stake Holders:

Stake holders are Institutions who are related to education. School, colleges and universities and their
employees will be focus. We can do FGD to provide accurate data by random sampling technique.

Reason to conduct this research:

To conduct the research “Improving Employees Online Engagement during post Covid-19 new normal in
Pakistani educational institutions”, is necessary to know what are concerns of employees of educational
institutions and students studying in those institute. E.g. the main is face mostly in primary and
secondary education because there is lack of knowledge to teachers, students and staff about using
modern day technology to engage daily activities which are curriculum and official. There is lack of
resources like buy new technology because variables like money and status matter. In the higher
education system it is somehow managed but student and employees face difficulties in Government
sectors universities because unplanned system and technology. This research will help us understand to
improve engagement in pandemic like Covid-19 situation, that how can we make employees happy via
rewards and trainings and provide basic necessities of life at workplace to help their routine with SOP’s
and ensuring their health and life.

Q: 3- Read the situation and answer the given questions.

Zehwa Beauty is a newly launched cosmetics brand operating from Karachi. The company
wants to increase customer base and has requested your help as a consultant to conduct
research to understand customers’ needs and demands in cosmetics market. 

a. Will it be Descriptive Research or Causal Research?


b. What type of Probability Sampling would be appropriate for this situation? Why?

A: Descriptive Research:
It is a type of quantitative research Zehwa beauty is a new Variable where they need customers to
create their own database and brand loyalty. Descriptive research defines the magnitude of a concept
and its characteristics. It is partially uncontrolled and natural. Partially controlled settings will be applied.

Steps will be for this research like:

1. Research problem and purpose; problems will be how Zehwa beauty can overcome its
competitors who are already in market. How they will make their brand loyalty in new user or
break the chain for old customers to their old brands. Purpose is to make brand more
prosperous and to increase sell.
2. Review the literature; will go through literature which is to be found in researches already done
in cosmetics in local Pakistani market, will customer go for local brand in cosmetics to make
review.
3. Framework; theoretical basis for a study that enables the researcher to link the findings to
nursing’s body of knowledge.
4. Research objectives and questions; All identify relationships between variables and indicate
population to be studied
5. Hypothesis; depends how research turns out to be in favour

Steps after these will be:

1. Study variables
2. Study design
3. Population and sample
4. Measurement and methods
5. Data collection
6. Date analysis
7. Discussion of research outcome

Sampling Type:
Random sampling will be used. Convenience sampling cannot be used. The reason for choosing for
random sampling is each member has an equal chance of being selected and has the most control in the
area we are doing research.
