Complete the sentences with ’


Example: The girl’s name / The dog’s eyes; or ’s:

 For an item or items belonging to one person, use ’s. a. Billy …. blue car is in the garage.
Example: The student’s glasses = one student is the owner of the glasses; b. Mr. John …. secretary is here.

 For an item or items belonging to more than one person, use s’. store.
