Damarin

Damaris  is  one  of  few  true  Imperial  Worlds  in  the  Koronous  Expanse  and  
one  with  good  resources  at  that.  It  is  a  very  cold  world  dominated  by  
mountains  and  hills.  Only  the  lands  close  to  the  equator  has  a  good  growing  
season  and  it  is  here  most  settlements  are  placed  though  some  live  in  the  
harsher  cold  lands  hunting  their  food.  Though  the  levy  is  seldom  tithed  into  
the  guard  they  are  nevertheless  prepared  for  it  being  equipped  by  the  
standard  of  the  imperial  guard.  
They  are  a  brave  and  loyal  regiment  but  they  lack  real  combat  experience,  
something  that  could  prove  to  be  a  problem.

Wounds:  You  start  with  the  normal  amount  of  wounds.

Talents:  Quick  Draw,  Rapid  Reaction,  Rapid  Reload,  
• Independence  of  the  Highlands:  You  have  grown  up  amongst  the  
Damarin  Highlands,  used  to  work  alone  or  with  a  few  friends.  Your  
Comrades  counts  as  being  in  Cohesion  so  long  as  they  are  within  15m  of  
you.  
• Distrustful  of  Authority:  You  have  grown  up  with  a  very  rigid  command  
structure  and  feel  uncomfortable  in  the  changing  command  structure  of  
the  Imperial  Guard.  This  makes  it  hard  for  you  to  deal  with  new  superiors.  
You  suffer  a  -­‐20  penalty  to  interaction  tests  with  unfamiliar  figures  of  
authority  and  they  suffer  the  same  penalty  towards  you.  
• Highlanders:  The  Damarian  Highland  Levy  knows  the  terrain  they  
grew  up  in  like  the  back  of  their  hands.  In  Highland  environments  
they  can  re-­‐roll  failed  Survival  and  Navigate  (Surface)  tests.
