Batik
Indonesia is a country which is famous for its various cultures, languages,
traditions and traditional clothing. One of the important assets of that country is Batik.
Batik is a work of art from cloth that passes through the process of clipping
to penglorodan. Batik was approved by UNESCO on October 2, which became an
International Batik Day.
Batik now exists in various regions, and each region has its own characteristics.
The process of making batik is divided into four namely batik, tie dye, printing, and
stamp.
It is not a short time to learn how to make batik. Many batik industry workers
work for 10 years because the need for skilled and trained workers is needed. It is not
easy and takes a long time.
So, it can be concluded that we need to preserve Indonesian batik, respect and protect

CORONAVIRUS
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly
discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate
respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and
those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic
respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge
from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also
practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).
COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which spreads between people,
mainly when an infected person is in close contact with another person.
The virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid
particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe heavily. These liquid particles
are different sizes, ranging from larger ‘respiratory droplets’ to smaller ‘aerosols’.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about
the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others
from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not
touching your face.

TASK 4 WRITING EXPLANATION TEXT / PROCEDURE TEXT
Opening Cement is a material used to glue stones, bricks, concrete blocks, and
other building materials. Meanwhile, the word cement itself comes
from cementum, which means "to cut into irregular small pieces".
General Statement How cement and concrete are produced. Overall, there are five stages
in the production of cement, while the procedure for producing
concrete from cement and a few other simple ingredients involves a
single stage.
Sequence of prosess Cement production begins when the initial raw materials, namely
limestone and clay, are crushed using two rotating drums to make a
fine powder which is then mixed in a cylindrical mixer. The next stage
involves a tube-like rotating heater with a blowtorch mounted at its
bottom opening. The mixed powder is fed from the top and
simultaneously heated and blended, after which it is transferred to a
grinder using a conveyor belt. There, it is milled to yield the final
cement product which is eventually packed in bags.
Conclution/Closing This cement is used as raw material in the production of concrete in a
second process. An initial mixture comprising 15% cement, 10%
water, one-quarter sand and half gravel is fed into a rotating concrete
mixer where they are stirred until the concrete mix is ready for
construction purposes.
