Q.1 CASE
After receiving the notification from Sindh Government dated 14th April 2020, you read page no.
2 & 3 part B “Factory/ Workplace Measures”, you as an Opportunist decide to start a business
in which your target audience will be businesses who need to incorporate all these measures in
order to ensure smooth working of their businesses without getting sealed from the
Government. You will be acting as an outsourced company who will be responsible to
incorporate all the Standard Operating Procedures in organizations which will be hiring your
services.

(A)Your Task (Proposl Writing)


You will be writing a proposal to different organizations in which you will be persuading them to
give a contract to your company to ensure all the SOP’s given by the Government are in place
within their factories or not. . Direct your proposal to the person or committee with the power
to authorize the contract. You should include a description of your proposed company, its
product or service, a market analysis, an operations and management plan, and a financial plan.

(B) Your Task ( Sales Letter)
Write a Sales Letter to the CEO of Khaadi, Korangi Industrial Area in full block letter format
informing him about your company and its services. Show him the advantages of hiring your
company in this pandemic crisis. Follow the AIDA plan wherever possible. (8)

Job Description

 Colgate Palmolive is seeking business graduates (BS, BBA,MBA from IBA, LUMS, CBM &
SZABIST) with an internship experience in sales and marketing of FMCG products.   
 Candidates will be required to conduct market research, preparing feasibility and
business plans.
 They will be required to conduct visits and interviews of major industry players.
  (note) Its a full time job and we require candidate on immediate basis so preferably
jobless.

Q.3 Study a consumer product that you might consider buying. Are you, or is your family or
your business, interested in purchasing a mobile phone, flat-screen TV, DVD player, computer,
digital camera, espresso machine, car, SUV, hot tub, or some other product? Take any product
which you are interested in buying.

Your Task
Use some primary and secondary sources in researching your topic. Your primary research will
be in the form of interviews with individuals (owners, users, salespeople, technicians) in a
position to comment on attributes of your product. Secondary research will be in the form of
print or electronic sources, such as magazine articles, owner manuals, and Web sites. Be sure to
use electronic databases and the Web to find appropriate articles.

Prepare a recommendation report which should analyze and discuss at least three comparable
models or versions of the target product. Decide what criteria you will use to compare the
models, such as price, features, warranty, service, and so forth. The report should include these
components: Executive summary, introduction (including background, purpose, scope of the
study, and research methods), findings (organized by comparison criteria), summary of findings,
conclusions and recommendations. Address the report to your instructor. (12)
