Board Members of The La Crosse County Democratic Party,

Thank you for the offer of endorsement from The La Crosse Democratic Party. I respect
and admire your organization’s mission to pursue information, involvement and
engagement on issues of paramount importance. I also pursue the same things.

After some reflection, I’ve decided against seeking endorsements from all political
organizations and affiliates. It goes against why I ran – which was because the Office of
The Mayor is nonpartisan. I am and always have been Pro-La Crosse. I stand for uniting
and collaborating to find solutions for problems that affect our city. Although our citizens
comprise the spectrum as far as their politics, as a community we all share in the
collective desire to make La Crosse the best place to work, live and play. That means
we need all voices to be heard.

I felt it fair to decline endorsement fairly, across the board. I do encourage you to stay
informed on my campaign. I hope your members know my door is always open to
hearing concerns and ideas from every member of our community, because I know we
all want the same things for our great city.
