Building Camera Modernization Project – Scope of Work

Objective: The current cameras are over 21 years old. We would like to
replace the cameras for better resolution units and add cameras
to address blind spots. We also wish to install a better recording
unit for the cameras. The access control boards at the police
front desk, jail control center, and jail booking desk shall also be updated.

Current Cameras
See the attached listing for current cameras (73).
The new cameras should have the same capabilities as the current cameras
e.g., stationary or PTZ/multi axis.

Option A: Use existing coax cable and power supplies with appropriate
adapters to carry the signal.

Option B: Run new network cable to each camera location.

Option C: Run new cables where the runs are accessible.

New Cameras:
Locations:
For any new locations, the vendor shall supply networking and power.
- On the sally port covering the two garage buildings
- Inside the new storage building (2 angles, or 360 degrees in the center)
- On a pole in the court employee lot to view entrance and lot (360 degrees)
- North parking lot to view court entrance and parking lot (360 degrees)
- Police parking lot to view employee, public and garage entrances and lot (360)

Audio
Install microphones in the following locations
Police Front Desk – motion activated and/or linked to intercom
Lobby at police front desk, at window – motion activated
Juvenile holding room – motion activated
Police public lobby – option of 24/7 or motion.
Bailiff station in public lobby – motion activated

Recording
A centralized server system shall be installed that shall have the capacity
to record all the cameras and audio on this system and hold the data for 45 days of
24/7 recording. But we want the option of 24/7 or motion per each camera.
This server shall have remote access ability within our network.
Monitoring
The new camera system shall be able to be routed to the existing monitor stations.
Jail, front desk, bailiff station. And remotely via network.

Intercom Interface
The new camera system shall interface with the TOA intercom system.
When an intercom station is activated, the proper monitoring station will
automatically view the appropriate camera for that TOA intercom station.

Access Control
Our key fob system uses a Continental Controls system. This interfaces with our
fire alarm system and access control boards in the jail and police department.
The touch boards in the jail (2) and police department need to be replaced
with all of the same functions to monitor/clear alarms, open doors, activate cameras.
