This week was a lot more productive, I started by writing and drawing up some basic story boards off my ideas. I had lots of ideas I would to get down so I
would only draw and write briefly about each one so I could easily go back and change it if necessary. This whole process took 2 full days as I wanted not
only to get a rough idea put together but detail each and ever single shot, I did this because I thought that when it comes to actually animating, I would
want clear instructions and references. The film includes a lot of action shots which were very short in length yet frequent as a result I ended up with 20
pages of storyboards and 108 frames in total. Because of this large number of frames, I have left out the actual drawing as I want to make sure my story
is 100% confirmed before I put the effort into drawing them.

To help decide if this was the exact way, I wanted to show this plot I wrote my script next which detailed both the language of each character which isn’t
in the story boards but also allow for much more context to be given for individual scenes. The script would also allow me to add more details and
develop the idea fully and incorporate my character development research I did earlier into the astronaut’s dialog. Due to most of the storyboards
already being competed the script was quick to complete and didn’t require as many rewrites as other productions. Next week I plan on rehearsing the
script with my family to find any faults in the story and to work out if it is too long or too short. I do worry the script may be too long as it is 8 pages long
which usually results in 8 minutes of footage which would be too long too logistically animate. I hope that due to the quick and snappy dialogue my film
will be closer to a more manageable 4-6 minutes.

I managed to get done this week a lot of basic pre-production work such as Location recces, crew list, equipment list and props list. These were pretty
easy to complete as I only have a few locations, the crew list is short as I will mostly be doing it myself. The equipment list was a bit more complex as
there was a lot to mention and I may have to add to it in the future as certain scenes develop in complexity. There is also a lot of miniatures and props to
mention however I have a pretty good idea of what these are and when I will use them.

I also got the internal model of my LEM delivered on Thursday from the 3D printers. To get it up to a filming standard will be very hard and time
consuming. Firstly, I have to sand down the model and get rid of support structures the 3D printer uses to construct objects and replace them with
alternatives in my case mostly Styrene. I then figured out where all the internal lighting would go and would drill holes to accommodate the different

sized lights, in total I will use 4 charismas tree lights and 2 sets of fibre optics. By the end of this week, I will have the internal lighting set up and have the
model prepared for the ‘kit bashing’ next week.

I think this week has been much more productive than last week and I am on track for getting all my research and planning finished by the end of next
week. I still have some target audience research to complete which I will use to change my script and storyboards if needed.
