SoW Description:

UFR motor heat exchanger repair – 1 nos.

1. Detailed Scope of Work

1. The supplier will collect the heat exchanger safely by truck from Emirates steel.
2. Pressure test the heat exchanger as per design pressure and reference drawing.
3. Identify the leakage points.
4. Send the report after pressure test with photos.
5. Rectify / repair the leaking tubes or change the new tubes if possible.
6. Or Plug the leakage tubes.
7. Pressure test again and hold appx 24 hrs for any identification of leakage.
8. If no leakage, send to emirates steel safely with truck.
9. Final test certificate must be submitted.
10. Guarantee to be given for appx 1 years.

• Gate passes – ES will arrange.
• Isolations & Permit - – ES will arrange.
• Electrical power source - – ES will arrange.

8. Equipment and Materials requirements:

• The supplier will arrange the vehicle for loading and unloading the coupling box from ES to ES.
• No improvised or uncertified fabricated tools.

9. Quality requirements :
• The supplier needs to do a quality job as per ES requirements.

• The supplier needs to do the job within the stipulated time and with no delay.
• The utmost care must be taken as not to cause any damage to the surrounding equipment, structures, and
foundations. No work will be allowed to start prior to receiving permission from the ES Team.
• All equipment and component parts within the Contractor’s scope should be warrantied against faulty design,
defective materials and poor workmanship and failure due to normal operations.

10. Security requirements: NA.

• Gate pass documents as per ES Policy.
• Vendor apply all kind of gate pass in emirates steel web side in visitor management system (VMS).

• Vendor to apply for Contractor gate pass with all required documents. ES-Security will provide temporary gate
pass for the working period on daily basis.
• Vendor to submit Material-In Delivery permit in emirates steel VMS system for delivery of any materials inside
ES plants.
• Vendor to submit Material Removal permit in emirates steel VMS system to security while removing any
material (belonging to vendor) from ES plant.
• Contractor shall submit the recent Covid-19 test results to the security supervisor prior to entering ES.
• All Main / Sub-Contractors shall apply for gate passes request through their concern department.
• Work order copy issued by ES – SCM for main contractor (Contract copy, PO, LOA, or Confirmation email) and
for subcontractor internal agreement copy between main contractor & subcontract.
• Passport copy for each contractor’s applicants with valid visa or copy of valid labour card, (Applicant should be
under contractor direct sponsorship visa),
• If contractor bring sub-contractor then required NOC certificate from both company with their valid passport,
visa, insurance card & emirates id.
• One photo passport size for each applicant (for permanent gate pass).
• Copy of group insurance policy or individual medical insurance card (coverage in Abu-Dhabi).
• Safety induction certificate from H&S dept. proof that all applicants are safety inducted (Visit gate pass can be
issued to facilitate this purpose),
• NOTE: - Visit Visa is not acceptable – mission visa is acceptable for work in ES.

11. Any specific Contractor staffing (management, supervisory, technician, and

helper) requirements

12. Any specific Contractor personnel skills/competency training requirements:

• Covid19 safety guidelines to adhere to and any violation of not complying with PPE shall be regarded as an LSR
violation.
