Conventions
1. Notational convention
Bolt indicates menus, menu options, function names, input fields, radio button names, check boxes,
drop-down lists, dialog box names, window names.
The symbol ““separates a multi-level menu, e.g.,
File New Folderindicates theFolder menu item
under the New submenu of the menu File.

3. Mouse Operation Convention

mouse button) once.
Drag Refers to pressing and holding a mouse button and move
mouse

Chapter 1 Remote Module Maintenance Console


Installation

Abstract:
This text introduces the installation of remote module maintenance console.

1.1 Application Introduction

The remote module maintenance console can maintain individual remote modules, suppo
machine command and local 112 test. This function is complete in the EU4 version
communication mode is changed in EU5 and EU6, as a result, it is impossible t
measurement console in client terminal nodes (such as 134 and 135) and it can only be installed in the
server node (such as 129-133, and it should be different from the existing server nodes). For installation

This text will discuss how to install remote module maintenance console in
environment.

1.2 Installation

Brief steps:

1. Install SQLServer2000 and its patch in 133 server, and install BDE, ODBC and communication
system.

Communication system installation: run version\INSTALL\install.exe

Select node No.: Communication mode is changed in EU5 and EU6 versions, select server
during installation. Here 133 will be taken as an example.

Select “DB Installation” for installation parameters including “authority system, ZXJ10
Switch DB, Line tester Console”. Log in line tester console according to operation

To take a 112 test, pay attention to configuration in C:\WINNT\win_mgt. Follow the following
configuration.

Run 112 measurement console, the 112 test begins.

Man-machine command and alarm inquiry fail to be executed in EU5 and EU6 environment. To solve
this problem, install EU4 client terminal.

1.2.2.2 Patch Introduction of Versions after EU5 (050128) T9 and the EU6 Version

For versions after EU5(050128)T9, select the patch file

EU6 selects the patch file

Replace \version\INSTALL\INSTALL.exe and \version\INSTALL\upgrade.exe

After the replacement, perform installation like in the EU4 environment.
