The Children’s Center for Communication & Development serving at-risk children…specifically those with developmental delays. 6. Delta Health Alliance - $472,680.00 – collaborating with school districts to provide supervised spaces for children and families who have lost access to in-person schooling 7. Boys & Girls Club of Gulf Coast - $727,200.00 – offering pre-k services to Harrison and Hancock counties to prepare more low-income children for the transition to kindergarten. 8. Boys & Girls Club of Central MS - $556,127.00 (extended project from Round 1) 9. North MS Education Consortium - $110,076.00 – Partnership between the Graduate Center for the Study of Early Learning, MSU’s Social Science Research Center, and UMMC; Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) for childcare providers will respond to the impact of COVID-19 related social emotional trauma by increasing childcare provider knowledge about social emotional health and behavioral management techniques.
