The police received a telephone call saying that five men had stopped a van which
was carrying money. They had attacked the driver and stole the van.
The police searched for a few hours, then they found the van near an oil palm estate.
The driver was lying with his hands and legs tied. The thieves had tied a handkerchief
around his mouth so that he could not shout. The police freed him and asked what had
happened.
“Five men stopped me soon after I left the bank,” said the driver. “They hit me on the
head with a gun, tied me up and threw me to the back of the van. Then they drove my van
and reached this oil palm estate. One of them climbed into the van, kicked me and took the
bags. Then they left.”

The book review

An interesting story to read. The story tells us about one of the best ways to test the
humbleness and politeness of a person.
The story is about Tuan Yusuf, a rich farmer who invited the poor children to his
house everyday to collect some buns for themselves and their family. This is because for a
long time the village had dried up and there is no more padi to eat.
One day, Salbiah, one of the poor children who is an honest girl willing to return the
money that she had found in the bun to Tuan Yusuf. In return, Tuan Yusuf gave her some
money and she lived happily with her family.
