BS Mathematics program of the University of Mindanao (UM) where he had been teaching for 15 years. He finished his degree of Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Southeastern Philippines. He graduated his master's degree in Environmental Planning and the degrees BS Mathematics and BS Civil Engineering from the UM. He completed the Faculty Training for Teaching the New GE Core Courses: Training of GE Trainors in Mathematics in the Modern World at Ateneo de Manila University and was a CHED-GE Regional Trainer for 2nd Generation Faculty Training for Region XI at UM. Also he participated the Lecture Series with the theme "Preparing to Teach Mathematics in the Modern World" at De La Salle University.
ELISA V. VELORIA finished her degrees in Bachelor of
Science in Secondary Education major in Mathematics in 1986 and Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics in 1991 at the University of Mindanao in Davao City. She is now on her dissertation writing in her Ph.D. in Science Education major in Mathematics at Ateneo de Zamboanga University. She was a high school mathematics teacher for 10 years in UM Ilang-Tibungco Jr. College. Currently, she is discipline chair of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Mindanao since 2004. She has also been a college professor in the same university from 2001 up to present. She participated in the Multi and Interdisciplinary Approaches to New General Education Curriculum at the University of Immaculate Concepcion in Davao City.
GUILLERMO B. BONGHANOY was a recipient of the
AUSAID scholarship in 2010 and finished his Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Organization in Education in 2011 at the Monash University, Clayton, Victoria, Australia. He also finished his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics in 1990 at the Rizal Memorial Colleges and his Master of Arts in Mathematics at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) in 1994. He is currently writing his dissertation paper in Ph.D. in Development Research and Administration at USEP. He completed the CHED's 2nd Generation Faculty Training for Teaching New General Education Core Courses: Mathematics in the Modern World at the University of Mindanao. JET EDWARD V. ONDARO finished his BS Mathematics at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU) and Ph.D. in Science Education major in Mathematics at De La Salle University (DLSU-Manila). Prof. Ondaro is teaching Mathematics subjects both in the College and Graduate School of NDDU. Presently, he is the Dean of College of Arts and Sciences in the same university.
JOEMAR D. SUMALINOG finished his BSEd
Mathematics and MA in Education major in Mathematics at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University (NDDU). He is a trainer for the CHED New General Education Course (Mathematics in the Modern World). He has been handling Mathematics subjects and Professional Courses in Education. Currently, he is the Mathematics Coordinator of the College of Arts and Sciences in the same university.
