Ningxia Hanas LNG Plant

Mid-scale LNG to help meet China’s growing demand

for clean energy
Ningxia Hanas
The largest LNG facility of its kind in China

In 2011, Technip is delivering its first LNG plant in China.

Ningxia Hanas LNG Project is a mid-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant that is being
built in Yinchuan, China. It will have two trains with a total capacity of 800,000 tonnes
per year, based on a Single Mixed Refrigerant (SMR*) liquefaction process.
The LNG will be distributed to
the Chinese market to help
meet the growing demand for
clean energy.
Technip’s operating centres in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and
Shanghai (China) are executing the contract. It is the first
LNG plant to be designed and built by Technip in the
Asia-Pacific Region. It represents a breakthrough into the
mid-scale LNG market and new opportunities for Technip.
