    Dear Hiring Manager:


    I am submitting my application in response to a job announcement for The Nurse residency program. I am
    currently working as an LPN in a Rehab and COVID-19 Specialty Unit. I will graduate in May with my AAS-
    N. My plan is to pass the NCLEX in early June.

    My experience included working with the elderly, dementia/Alzheimer’s, hospice, Peri-operative, Medical
    surgical unit. I not only meet your requirement for completing a LPN program I exceed them with my
    experience. As far as compassion and caring are concerned, I feel that these are the strongest traits I
    have to offer. Another bonus is I already have my CPR certification, and have experience with your
    EMR system EPIC.

    Thank you for your time and consideration. I would welcome the opportunity to have a personal
    interview, where I could further discuss my qualifications and the skills that I feel I can bring to an
    Intensive Care Unit
