1 Overview
CSI-200EManage is used as auxiliary management software of PC
(hereinafter is referred as software or version 2.00) for CSI-200E series
comprehensive measurement and control device (hereinafter is referred as
device or bay).

The main function as follows:

z Main-line diagram drawing

The bay main-line can be drawn by software to be applied for display in HMI.
The required element (circuit breaker, disconnector, reactor, capacitor,
connection wiring) can be selected from element library by user to draw
main-line diagram and define the attribute of each element (controlled,
dynamic state, static state) according to different bay requirement. The
software converts to main-line diagram configuration table code which can be
identified by device, and input to device through RS-232 port in panel, the bay
main-line diagram will be display in HMI, local operation can be performed if
cooperate with local operation button.

z PLC logic edition

Device “five protection” logic blocking, bays “five protection” logic blocking,
switch off/on, disconnector, closing with synchronization check, CB open
alarm function, etc., which can be performed by PLC programmable control
logic in device. It is not required to perform any program by user and engineer,
the ladder diagram can be edited according to requirement through software
graphic logic editor. The corresponding function can be performed after the
diagram downloaded to device via serial port.

z Device configuration

Configure the channel configuration of each function module in device based

on the various bay requirements (e.g. voltage, current, power and frequency
attribute for each channel of measuring module, single/double position
remote signal, transformer position and electrical pulse attribute for binary
input quantities of binary input module, DC and temperature attribute for each
channel of DC measuring module). During configuring, according to practical
engineering condition, the engineering commissioning personnel fill in the

11
Chapter 4 Main-line diagram drawing

1 Element drawing

1.1 Draw and move element

Diagram drawing toolbar

All of the required elements for main-line diagram drawing in “Draw” menu, in
order to be convenient for drawing, the corresponding button of these
elements are included in toolbar.

When drawing some elements, select corresponding menu item or click

corresponding button of toolbar, and then left-click mouse in the range of
main-line diagram to draw the selected element, after that, the left-key of
mouse switch into selection function automatically (selection button is
pressed in toolbar), if it is required to draw element continuously, reselect the
menu item of the corresponding element or toolbar button.

When drawing the busbar or dashed box, it is required to left-click mouse and
move mouse simultaneously to determine the element size; textbox size can
be adjusted automatically based on the length and height of text content,
which cannot be adjusted manually.

Left-click the element in main-line diagram, 8 small squares is displayed

around the element which means the element is selected. At this time, the
element can be moved to anywhere in the range of main-line diagram through
mouse left-key to perform the arrangement of main-line diagram. If select the
menu of “Draw/Main Transformer/Transverse Two Winding Transformer” or
click the draw button in toolbar, left-click the area of main-line diagram to
draw the transverse two winding transformer, the position can be arranged by
moving.

12
Chapter 4 Main-line diagram drawing

1.2 Copy, cut, paste and select all element

In the menu of “Edit”, operation of cut, copy and delete are used for selected
element; paste operation is used to paste element to main-line diagram from
clipboard, and copy selected element to clipboard; select all function is to
select all of the elements in main-line diagram. These operations are same as
most of other software, including shortcut key, so using these operations to
draw main-line diagram like writing WORD document. However, the “Cancel”
function is not supported in version V2.00, so, pay attention to the “Delete”
operation specially.

Special operation

— If re-draw the main-line diagram instead of new create, “Select All” and
then “Delete”.

— If two of the manage software are running at the same time, copy
elements of main-line diagram from one software and then paste to
another software, it is convenient to copy the existed main-line diagram
to new created main-line diagram.

1.3 Backward movement

When drawing elements, the latest drawn element is on the top of previous
drawn element generally, so, if the latest drawn element is not moved, the
previous drawn element cannot be selected. If the drawn transformer element
is surrounded by dashed box and the dashed box is drawn later, although the
transformer element is displayed normally, it cannot be selected. In order to
solve this problem, add the menu of “Draw/Move Back”, it is applied to move
back the top element, and the previous drawn element can be selected.

1.4 Element attribute setting

For version V2.00, busbar and dashed box without attribute setting, other
element attribute can be set. Double-click the selected element and pop up
the corresponding attribute setting box, confirm and exit after setting.

13
Chapter 4 Main-line diagram drawing

Element attribute setting box

Including three types, controlled, dynamic display and static display:

— Controlled: the corresponding primary equipment can be remote

controlled by device, perform tripping or closing binary output operation
for this element in MMI (the “Binary output object number” filled here
must be consistent with operation object number of PLC logic
programmable software setting), if the state of corresponding equipment
can be collected, actual position state of the element will be displayed in
LCD, solid means closing state and dashed box means tripping state; for
the controlled element, the corresponding binary output object number
and binary input terminal number of reflecting binary output state must be
filled in (actual terminal number, beginning from 1).

— Dynamic display: if the corresponding equipment state can be collected

by device, actual closing state or tripping state of the element will be
displayed in LCD, but cannot operate tripping and closing binary output
from MMI; for the element need to change the displaying, the binary input
terminal number must be filled in for the corresponding displaying state.

— Static display: if the corresponding equipment stage cannot be collected

by device, only the default stage (closing stage) of the element can be
displayed in LCD, the actual stage cannot be displayed through dynamic
displaying (actual terminal number, beginning from 1).

If the element is displayed dynamically, it is required to select single-point or

double point of the corresponding remote signal and the relationship of NO or
NC. If corresponding to double-points remote signal, two points must be

14
Chapter 4 Main-line diagram drawing

corresponding to two adjacent terminals of remote signal terminal, and input

the smaller number of binary input terminal corresponding to the “Binary input
terminal number” of element attribute. Double-position switch selected is
used to for displaying undetermined stage of switch.

For single-point remote signal, NO and NC attribute is remote signal attribute

of node for “Binary input terminal number”; for double-point remote signal, NO
and NC attribute is remote signal attribute of node for “Binary input terminal
number”, the remote signal attribute of node is on the contrary for the node of
number plus 1 (the number is corresponding to actual number). NO and NC
selection is used for forward displaying and reverse displaying of switch state,
i.e. the actual binary input is 0, open or close state can be selected to display
in main-line diagram.

The position displayed in attribute box is the upper left position of element to
main-line diagram.

Example for main-line diagram

Chapter 4 Main-line diagram drawing

2 Download main-line diagram

Download the completed main-line diagram to device via serial port. If
downloading success, the main-line diagram displayed in MMI will be
displayed in PC.

The default serial port is COM1, select other serial port through menu
“Tools/Config Serial Port”, but the other parameter of serial port are set by
software automatically.

The present view must be “Main-line diagram drawing” and the serial port is not opened,
select menu of “Tools/Download Outline Diagram” or click the button in toolbar to begin to
download the main-line diagram, the serial port will be closed automatically after
downloading finished. When downloading, various kinds of information during downloading
are displayed at information bar, including downloading element symbol, line drawing,
letter symbol, other drawings, element attribute, and downloading success or failure
information, and so on; sending or receiving report by serial port displayed in report
window, sending and receiving time displayed at the head of each frame of report,
accurate to the millisecond.

1.2 Classification for operation type

Operation Type Specification

SET operation Used for relay self-holding operation, once the relay triggered, the relay
will not be influenced by input, only the RESET operation to relay for
relay dropout.

Operation object only used for auxiliary relay.

RESET operation Used for reset operation for relay, cooperate with SET operation.

In addition to auxiliary relay, the operation object also include command

relay, and the operation can be used for command relay independently,
need not to cooperate with SET operation.
OUT operation Output operation to relay, the output is related with input, once the input
disappears, the output will disappear, too.

Operation object include output relay, auxiliary relay, time relay, pulse
relay, relay command determination relay.
CJP operation Jump statements, screen some statements of latter diagram through
some external inputs. (skip the following logic branches).

1.3 Use rules

z “And” logic for different input block in the same branch, “or” logic for
different nodes in the same branch.

z Many input blocks can be included in one branch, and many nodes can
be included in one input block; only one output block can be included in

21
Chapter 5 PLC edition

one branch, many nodes can be included in one output block.

z If the input block is physical node, which can be selected as binary input
node, AC node and DC node; if the output block is physical node, it is
only can be selected as binary output node.

z Definition for sequence number, physical node: the node sequence

number must be corresponding to the terminal of binary quantity; node of
remote control command relay and remote command determination relay:
the node sequence number must be corresponding to object number; the
sequence number of other common logic node and general node can be
defined by user, but the sequence number of same node type cannot be
repeated. In the progress of executing the PLC at a time, each type of
output node cannot be repeated (for binary output simultaneously, the
same binary output in different binary output block are considered as
repeat, this need to be taken into account when engineering design).

z For drawing mode PLC editor in version V2.00, the last node and the
parallel connection node of one branch is defined as output block.

22
Chapter 5 PLC edition

2 Programing for programable logic

2.1 Icons for PLC toolbar

2.2.4 Copy and delete branch

Copy and delete to the selected branch. After delete one branch, the software
will arrange all branches and new sequence number. The operation for delete
branch cannot be reversed.

2.2.5 Paste branch to present branch

Paste branch to the position behind present selected branch from clipboard.
The software will rearrange the sequence number again after pasting. The
precondition for this command is that the node number in clipboard must be
large than 1. That means, the branch number must be large than 1 when copy
branch, or the node must be large than 1 when copy node.

2.2.6 Move up and move down branch

The operation of move up is to change the position with the branch above the
selected branch. The operation of move down is to change the position with
the branch under the selected branch. The software will rearrange all
branches and sequence number after moving.

2.2.7 Move all output blocks to the last

Move the last output block of all branches to the last of the branch.

2.3 Node management

2.3.1 Adding node

Add node to the selected branch. According to the rules, the last node and
parallel connection node are output blocks, considering the correctness of

24
Chapter 5 PLC edition

PLC edition, add new node behind the last node all the time. If require to
change output block, which can be performed by move left or move right.

Single-click node by mouse can select node. There is dotted box around the
selected node.

If need to add node behind a certain node, select the node first, and then add
node. The selected node must be in the present branch.

2.3.2 Adding parallel connection node

In PLC drawing, transverse direction is row, longitudinal direction is column.

The row in the same horizontal position with branch name is named as main
line or branch row. The branch row connects with the first and last line. The
branch row with the row in front of branch row consists of one branch. The
node in branch main line is named as branch node or node, the node in same
column of branch node but not in branch row is named as parallel connection
node. The branch node and parallel connection node in same column are
named as block.

If the node in block is selected, the parallel node can be added for this block.

Node management

2.3.3 Copy, cut, delete, paste and select all

These are command in “Edit” menu, the first three commands are to operate
to selected node;

Paste command is to paste node to present branch from clipboard;

Select all command is to select all the nodes in PLC;

25
Chapter 5 PLC edition

If copy and paste node 1 to the behind of node 2, select node 1 first, copy and
then select node 2 and paste.

2.3.4 Replace node

Replace selected node by the node in clipboard. Node number in clipboard

should be 1.

2.3.5 Move forward and move back node

Move left or move right of the selected node. Only support to move the branch
node namely the node in branch main line.

2.3.6 Node attribute setting

Double-click node, pop up the node attribute setting box, setting the node
attribute according to requirement.

4 Skill for PLC programming

z Including a pair of NC contacts and a pair of NO contacts for each relay.

When input 1 to relay, with triggering: the NO contact is “1”, indicate

closing state; the NC contact is “0”, indicate open state.

When input 0 to relay, without triggering: the NO contact is “0”, indicate

open state; the NC contact is “1”, indicate closing state.

z When require to output time delay contact, the time relay can be adopted

z When require to output latched relay (after triggering disappear, the

output can hold for a while), the pulse relay can be adopted. It is
suggested to operation binary output contact with pulse relay, to
guarantee the contact output last for a while.

z Time parameter for time relay and pulse relay is set with step 10ms.

z In order to confirm execution success of the remote control command,

the remote control command determination return relay can be adopted.
The corresponding remote signal is returned after remote control
command execution, to trigger remote control command determination
return relay, in program, if the sequence number of remote control
command determination return relay is same as sequence number of
remote control command relay, the operation succeed report will be
returned, and at the same time, the remote command relay will be
cleared.

z Before downloading PLC logic, the control logic linker must be disabled.

5 Perform remote control function by

PLC
Give an example for controlling tripping and closing circuit breaker to specify
the three method of performing remote control by device.

5.1 Common remote control

The procedure for performing remote control as follows:

1) Receiving the remote control command, the binary outputs are driven by
remote control command relay;

2) The related remote signal return, drive the corresponding remote control
command determination relay;

3) The remote control command dropout, binary output dropout.

Logic diagram of remote control function

If the remote signal is not returned within 15s, the remote control command
will return automatically. Applied for the condition for which the related remote
signal can be returned within 15s.

5.2 Perform remote control by time relay

The procedure for performing remote control as follows:

1) Receiving the remote control command, the binary outputs and time relay
are driven by remote control command relay;

31
Chapter 5 PLC edition

2) The setting time of time relay elapse, drive the corresponding remote
control command determination relay.

3) The remote control command dropout, binary output dropout.

Schematic drawing for performing remote control by time relay

The time delay of time relay can be set, the setting range is 10ms~15ms,
applied for the condition for which the time of binary output is less than 15ms
fixedly or no corresponding remote signal return.

5.3 Perform remote control by pulse relay

The procedure for performing remote control as follows:

1) Receiving the remote control command, the pulse relay and the
corresponding remote control command determination relay are driven
by remote control command relay;

2) Drive the pulse relay output.

32
Chapter 5 PLC edition

Schematic drawing for performing remote control by pulse relay

The latching time can be set for pulse relay output, the setting range is
10ms~10min, applied for the condition for which the binary output time is
required for long. If the binary output is required for closing for long term, the
double position DOB module should be adopted.

6 Perform synchronization function by

PLC
If the one and a half breaker arrangement is applied, synchronization voltage
adopts the rules near zone priority. 10 logical linkers are corresponding to
different synchronization selection mode:

Connection mode

a) Synchronization function linker;

b) Synchronization-check linker for manual closing function;

c) Energizing-check linker;

d) Quasi-synchronization linker for manual closing;

e) Fixed voltage mode. U1 and U4 are synchronization voltage;

f) Adopt near zone priority rule. U1 and U2 are synchronization voltage;

g) Adopt near zone priority rule. U1 and U3 are synchronization voltage;

h) Adopt near zone priority rule. U1 and U4 are synchronization voltage;

i) Adopt near zone priority rule. U2 and U3 are synchronization voltage;

j) Adopt near zone priority rule. U2 and U4 are synchronization voltage;

33
Chapter 5 PLC edition

k) Adopt near zone priority rule. U3 and U4 are synchronization voltage;

a) Synchronization function linker, enable the linker, the device perform

synchronization function.

b) c) d) Synchronization mode linker, only one can be enabled among

them.

1) The voltage of both side should be large than 0.9Un;

2) The voltage difference and angle difference of both sides should be less
than setting.

If the control word of synchronization D1 is set as “0”, when

synchronization-check is enabled, closing can be performed if the
energizing-check satisfied. The condition: voltage of one side/two side are no
voltage (< 0.3Un).

When the c linker is enabled, energizing-check is adopted for synchronization

mode. Closing condition: voltage of one side/two side are no voltage
(<0.3Un).

When the d linker is enabled, synchronization capture manually is adopted for

synchronization mode, closing cannot be performed with no voltage condition
by default. Closing condition:

1) Voltage of both sides are large than 0.7Un;

2) Voltage difference of both sides are less than setting;

3) Frequency difference is less than setting;

4) Change rate of frequency difference is less than setting.

Under the condition that the condition described above are met, the device
will capture 0° closing angle automatically, issue the closing command at 0°
closing angle, the calculation equation for closing angle:

e), f), g), h), i), j), k) are selection linker for synchronization, only one can be
enabled, the others disabled automatically. If it is fixed voltage mode, the

34
Chapter 5 PLC edition

device is in linker status. If the near zone priority rule is adopted, the device
issue closing command after power on, disable all the linker that applied for
near zone priority rule.

Take into account of the external linker applied for synchronization mode
somewhere instead of logical linker and define the synchronization relay as
follows:

Synchronization relay 0--------------synchronization-check for closing manually

Synchronization relay 1--------------energizing-check for closing manually

Synchronization relay 2--------------capture synchronization for closing

manually

Synchronization relay 3~7--------------determine the synchronization mode

according to the stage of synchronization mode logical linker

Take example with synchronization-check function for closing manually,

specification as follows:

a) Define a external binary input as synchronization-check for closing

manually;

b) Local handle is in local stage;

c) External linker of synchronization-check for closing manually is required

to be enabled;

When the binary input and other input blocking satisfy with conditions, output
synchronization relay 0 first, and then drive binary output by synchronization
node, complete the operation of circuit breaker closing manually based on
synchronization-check.

Take example with synchronization capture automatically, the

procedure as follows:

a) Synchronization capture used as synchronization relay, when operation

object need to be operated, output the synchronization capture relay first,
and then drive binary output operation by synchronization capture node.

b) Perform synchronization capture by remote control.

c) Two closing operation for same circuit breaker, direct closing and closing

35
Chapter 5 PLC edition

when synchronization capture satisfied. These two modes can be

performed by synchronization-check linker, as the following diagram
shown:

Schematic drawing for the synchronization capture function

In the above diagram, when the synchronization linker enabled and receiving
remote control command 4, output one synchronization relay according to
PLC, at this time, the MASTER module send synchronization command to AI
module, the AI module begin to distinguish the synchronization condition
based on setting after receiving synchronization command, if the condition
satisfied, output binary output. This mode equal to close with
synchronization-check. When the synchronization linker disabled and
receiving remote control command 4, it is not required to perform
synchronization-check operation, output binary output directly. This mode
equal to close directly.

d) This logic diagram is downloaded to CSI-200E device by PC after

completed by engineering personnel.

e) Enable the synchronization logical linker of CSI-200E through sending

remote control command by monitoring system or operate panel locally,
add a synchronization frequency channel to device AC channel list
through monitoring system, the CSI-200E can send the voltage and
frequency of local side and opposite side required for synchronization to
monitoring system via Ethernet.

f) Set the synchronization setting by local panel operation, including voltage

difference, frequency difference, phase angle difference, slip difference
and advanced time, etc.

g) Measured value of voltage and frequency of local side and opposite side

36
Chapter 5 PLC edition

required for synchronization can be observed from monitoring system,

and distinguish the synchronization condition based on numerical value,
if the condition satisfied, perform closing operation with
synchronization-check.

h) The device performs PLC closing after receiving synchronization closing

command.

37
Chapter 5 PLC edition

7 Perform voltage regulation function by

PLC
Including voltage regulation function in CSI-200E device, the procedure as
follows:

a) Set the control word of voltage regulation allowance position to 1, to

enable the voltage regulation function for the control and measure
device.

b) Enable the tap linker, to allow the operation of voltage regulation.

c) After the voltage regulation allowance position setting to 1, the first group
of first binary input module used as position input of transformer, the
present position can be got by monitoring system through the 4f report
sent by device.

d) The three states of Up, down and stop for voltage regulation are
corresponding to remote control object number 1, 2, 3, the binary output
object can be configured flexibly by PLC logic. In order to distinguish the
common binary output, add a pulse relay and reset command relay in
PLC logic. As the following diagram:

Perform voltage regulation function by PLC

Note: the sequence number of reset command relay is consistent with

the sequence number of up tap command.

8 Bay five protection blocking performed

by PLC
The bay five-protection logic blocking can be performed by PLC, and the
device get binary input information from other device via Ethernet, to perform
five-protection logic blocking by PLC.

The performing method:

a) Configure the address of blocking device.

Select the menu of “PLC/Config Interlock Device Address” to enter into the
window of configuring the blocking device.

Blocking device address setting

Sending bay address and sending bay IP address configuration is to

configure the binary input quantity information to send to which device. Bays
communication adopt broadcast mode.

Receiving bay address configuration is to configure the device to receive

39
Chapter 5 PLC edition

binary input quantity information from which device, binary input quantity
group number means that the configured binary input quantity group number
in the device of corresponding address, the binary input number is 4 when the
device is configured to 24 channels of binary input; the binary input number is
6 when the device is configured to 34 channels of binary input. One device
can receive the binary input quantity information from 16 devices at most.

b) Add “network node” to PLC

The binary input quantity information of other device in PLC is performed in

network node mode, for example, perform remote control closing operation to
switch, need to add the state distinguishing of busbar earth disconnector in
PLC, the state of busbar earth disconnector is collected by the device of
address 11H, after the blocking device address configuration finished, add
busbar earth disconnector node in PLC, as the following picture shown:

Specification: communication interrupts (don’t receive related report for 2min)

result from maintenance or other reasons, the binary input quantity
information obtained from the device which communication interrupt is not
reliable (maybe changed). Under this condition, the present branch will be
blocked. The device cannot be controlled due to communication interruption,
and need to be controlled in the emergency condition, logic control can be
performed by unblocking linker. Unblocking linker adopt single-point control,
namely unblocking logic. Go on with the example, the device of address 11H
communication interrupt due to work abnormally, but the remote control
operation of switch needs to be working, at this time, enable the unblocking
linker, the logic will ignore the corresponding network node state
discrimination when executing the corresponding branch, and discriminate
the other input condition.

2 Configuration module

2.1 Configuration binary input module

In device configuration, all of the items need to be configured have been

listed in device configuration guide bar, click the corresponding item in the
guide bar to switch configuration zone. Actually, the configuration zones are
some tables. After one table or one record in table is configured and need to
be saved, click the button of “Refresh record/Save”. When switch
configuration zones, the unsaved information will be lost. Delete record
function is used to delete selected record.

In configuration table, some items are dropdown list box, namely click the
table, the dropdown list will pop up, and select the required item, for example
the CPU address; some items need to be input; and some items read-only,
for example the Chinese ID. When configuring the “Binary input module”,
select the CPU address (note: the address only can be selected from small to
large according to CPU module number, AI module and DC module are
same), fill in the channel number of CPU module. At most two double binary
input modules can be configured for one device, and totally 96 channels of
binary input. The channel number means that the binary input number,
common binary input is 24, the channel number of double binary input (add a
extension module without CPU in common module) module is two times of
common binary input module (48).

After CPU address selected, and input the channel number, click “Refresh
record/Save”. And then switch into other zones through device configuration
guide bar.

Configuration the binary input module

2.2 Configuration analog input module

47
Chapter 6 Device configuration

The configuration method is same as binary input module, and at most three
AI modules can be configured for one device.

The channel numbers of CPU module include the actual physical channel
(connected voltage and current with external terminal) and the virtual channel
(for example: line voltage calculated by phase voltage, active power P,
reactive power Q, power factor cosφ, frequency f and general node). The
ration of large CT and large PT is the transformation ration of primary side to
secondary side in primary equipment (i.e. 600/5, 200kV/100), the small CT
transformation ratio is the CT specification in device (5A or 1A).

Configuration AI module

2.3 Configuration the DC/temperature module

The method is same as “Binary input module”, the channel number is actual
physical channel, including DC measurement and temperature measurement.
At most two DC modules can be configured for one device.

Configuration DC/temperature module

48
Chapter 6 Device configuration

3 Configuration channel
After the device setting and each function module configuration finished,
enter into channel configuration. Select the corresponding channel in the
channel configuration in device configuration guide bar, switch into the
configuration zone of the corresponding channel. If the function module
corresponding to the channel is not configured, switching fail. So, the function
module should be configured first, and then configure the corresponding
channel.

3.1 Attribute configuration for each channel in binary

input module

Binary input group attribute is the attribute definition of binary input terminal,
including transformer position, pulse power, single and double position
remote signal, and disable. The attribute must be whole group definition, a
basic binary input module includes 4 group of binary input without same
grounded of common terminal, and the binary input channel number is 8, 4, 8,
4 in proper sequence for each group of binary input, the basic binary input
module with extension module consist of eight group of channel that is shown
in figure 24.

Note: only the first group and third group binary input in first binary input
module can be set as transformer position. If the position input cannot use 8
binary inputs, the rest of binary input cannot be used for other purpose.

If the voltage regulation with separate phase, need to set the first group and
third group in first binary input module as transformer position, and at the
same time, need to set the control word D13 of voltage regulation as voltage
regulation with separate phase.

Note: when configuring the binary input attribute, it is required to

configure 4 groups, 8 groups, 12 groups and 16 groups, and cannot
configure the disable attribute in the middle.

49
Chapter 6 Device configuration

3.2 Each channel attribute configuration for AI

module

Channel attribute is the physical meaning for the channel, need to fill in, the
power measurement point sequence number is power group sequence
number, beginning from 0, (power group sequence number for first AI module
is 0~3, the second module is 4~7 and the third module is 8~11). When the
channel is voltage or current, the basic node phase sequence must fill in, if
the channel is other content, don’t need to fill in. The Chinese ID don’t need to
be filled in manually, the software will fill in automatically when “Refresh
channel”.

The channel attribute: the first 12 channels are physical channel configuration
of AI module. Configuration based on the connected voltage or current. The
hardware version of 8U4I and 6U6I: 8U4I means that 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12
are voltage channel, the other channels are current channel; 6U6I means that
1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 are voltage, and the others are current. So, need to configure
as voltage/current or disable. But, when calculate the total channels, the
channels are involved whatever the channel enabled or disabled.

The typical configuration for two types of AI module, refer to the following
table. Select the menu of “Device/AC Unit Channel 8U4I” or click the toolbar
button to configure the AI module channel as typical configuration 8U4I.
Configure 6U6I with same method.
