CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE
- In this building construction process first step. This per construction possesses some
points like plot hiring, planting, budget, consult hiring, contractor, Design process, etc.

 Acquire the Land.

It is the process where the land or site is being bought by the government or any
individual and it is suitable for the structure.
 Seeking of Consultant.
After selecting proper land for building, seek the help / consultant of a professional
architect to create building designs, and take advice.
 Design Process.
Finding some problems that needs to solve before entering to the main construction step.
Also consider some alternative solution that may support the main solution.
 Preparing of Budget.
A process where the budget of the whole construction is being estimated. Also Building
construction involves a huge quantity of material and budget. After planning and
structural detailing finished, these details are transferred into the building estimator.
 Building permit.
This process may help the structure if they are able to build it on the located site and if
the project is not breaking any law of the area.
 Role of the Contractor.
A contractor for construction needs to be chosen carefully because it’s a major factor for
securing building construction quality and timely construction of work. The contract
document must cover layout and work details along with the cost payment methods and
time scales. The condition of the contract ought to be thoroughly checked before signing
a final deal.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE

 Road Construction
Lay-outing and making concrete connecting roads streets and pathways.
 Making Firewalls
Serves as the one of the main foundations of the units. This should be done by an
architect or an engineer.
 Putting Foundations
To support the housing units from earthquakes and other earth disasters.
 Starting to build the treated bamboo walls.
The main materials for the housing units are bamboo where exterior walls and interior
walls are being a bamboo and it is well treated that can last in years.
 Bamboo Beams.
 Roofing
 Finishing exterior and interior of the housing units.
 Doors and Windows
Installing wood doors and jalousie windows to front and rear side of the units.
 Electrical.
This can be done by a professional electrical engineer to avoid any problems that causes
to fire.
 Plumbing
Putting septic tanks, drainage ways for kitchen and toilet.
