for restructuring HBL’s Retail (Commercial) Lending business. The job
involved strategic planning, process re-engineering, structural re-
alignment, capacity building, and product development through close co-
ordination with Risk Management, IT & Systems, Credit Administration,
and HR. Some accomplishments included authoring of HBL’s first SME
Policy, roll-out of 4 new lending products, initiation and implementation
of the re-aligned delivery channel / structure for Retail Lending business.

 Solicitation of new business i.e. quality names to build up sound asset
base with focus on agents of major brands, import/export oriented and
stable companies with consistent performance and development of
existing portfolio (enhanced earnings / ROA and cross-sell products).
