KPMG Questions

1. The activities described here fit the definition of employee development is because they
are developing leadership skills as they continue to gain experience. They also have a
training organization that offers training programs for them to be trained in their job skills
for the future and help them understand the industry trends. In addition, the training
program is focused more on the assessments that they want their employees to have when
they move into their future roles.
2. It would affect the way the company would hire and promote employees. They would
have to recruit people who have experienced backgrounds and the skills needed in order
for the company to maintain/predict their future performance. Since they would not be
training or using assessments to help their employees grow.
