Who are we?
We are CityKidz. We are a Christian not-
for-profit organization with locations in
Regina, Ottawa, and Hamilton. Our goal is
to provide children in poverty with the tools
to build strong skills. We dream that every
child in Canada has an equal chance to fol-
low their big dreams.
What we do:
Our volunteer team,
• Makes in-home visits,
• Host weekly CityKidz Saturdays,
• Give transportation and meals for
children facing poverty.
Our volunteers create relationships and
are role models for kids in hard situations.
Donating to us is giving kids a chance to go
to summer camp, celebrate birthdays and
Christmas.

positions we have ready to go.
Position Duties
Team Captains Making home visits, take on
Leadership roles on the bus,
and make interpersonal rela-
tionships with the kids.

If those volunteer positions wouldn’t work,
consider working as a bus driver for CityKi-
dz. Without buses and bus drivers, our kids
would not get a chance to experience our
CityKidz programs.
Bus Driving Checklist:
25 years or older

Good driving record
Cares about Safety
Can volunteer twice a month
Available on Saturdays
Open to working a minimum of 4 hrs.
What’s it like?
Ask Kerry, one of our Bus Capitan volunteers,
little bit of time even if it’s only one Saturday a
month. It’s to help with home visits, it’s to pre-
pare food, there is so much opportunity to be
able to touch the life of a child. They deserve
to have a chance, have people that care, and
show interest in them—show them they are
loved.”
