How can the eyes deceive the mind

Hello, today I am going to make a presentation under the

topic how the eyes can deceive the mind.
Our eyes are one of the senses. In other word, it is the lens of brain. So that, we
believe that our eye sight is the most accurate sense we have. Because unlike
touch and smell or taste, with our eyes we see the object’s color motions shape
and so on, which means we recieve lots of information with our eyes.
Could eyes be fooled? Yes, they can be fooled easily. Actually, sight is the easiest
sense to be tricked.
In fact, Visual, or optical, illusions show us that our minds tend to make
assumptions about the world. And what you think you see is often not the truth,
technically.
There are some pictures that shows very unknown image and each human sees it
differently. For example, on this picture one sees a young lady, but the other sees
an old granny.

Throughout the history, scientists tried to solve this riddle that why our eyes can
be fooled so easily by these pictures. In 350BC, Aristotle noted that “our senses
can be trusted but they can be easily fooled”.
It is often explained that the way we see the world is connected to our mental
health, personality and mind. Our brain makes judgements about size using
adjacent objects – and this can be manipulated. For example, when we see a train
track, the road looks like a triangle and the lines between them become shorter
as they get further. But in truth the lines are all identical.
Painters use technics to trick the eyes to make it believe that they are seeing a
real picture. Like make the trees smaller to show them as they are further away.
So that is how brain gets confused and believe what eyes see.
In addition, Angle is very important. Our eyes are lens shaped like a half ball. We
only see the objects with the real shape when it is right in front of us. But as it
goes to the corner of the eye, the object may seem different.
