Class Exercise on the Profile Of Sustainability

Choose two examples from the following list:

 Universities
 Industrial companies
 Government
 Environmental groups
 Public .e.g. news articles

These examples can be from anywhere around the world.

Now, with respect to the topic of “sustainability” look at your two examples and consider the
following.

1. What was available about this topic? Include definitions, policy, research being
carried out, statements, etc.
2. What practical measures are being carried out?
3. Are there any conflicting ideas?
4. What are the technological/policy developments in this area?
5. What was the most helpful information provided?

Outcome: Report (1-2 pages for each example)
