World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC)


The World Travel and Tourism Council is the only global forum whose members are the top
decision makers in the travel and tourism industry. The over 150 members compromise of
CEOs, presidents or chairmen of airlines, airports, hotels, cruise lines, travel agencies, tour
operators, and travel technology suppliers. The WTTC maintains a professional staff in its
London office, under the leadership of its president and CEO.

 Ang World Travel and Tourism Council ay ang nag-iisang pandaigdigang


forum na ang mga miyembro ay ang nangungunang tagagawa ng desisyon sa
industriya ng paglalakbay at turismo. Ang higit sa 150 mga kasapi na

Tourism Competitiveness Report, a report published by the World Economic
Forum.

SUMMITS
The WTTC organises a global summit each year, usually held in April, with a
regional summit held sometime in the third quarter, with up to 1,000 individuals

AWARDS

Tourism for Tomorrow Awards are awarded in several categories to encourage and
acknowledge developments in sustainable tourism. These awards were initially
created by the Federation of Tour Operators in 1989 and taken over by British
Airways in 1992.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) ito po ay naka focus po on making asia and pacific a stable,
inclusive, and peaceful region while continuing to fight poverty. Nag oofer po sila ng loans, technical
aid, grants, and equity contributions para po matulungan yung mga members and partners to
promote social and economic prosperity.
The Islamic Development Bank (Arabic: ‫البنك اإلسالمي للتنمية‬ito po is a multilateral
development finance institution na nag fofocus sa Islamic finance na located sa Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia. Meron po itong 57 shareholding member states with the largest single
shareholder being Saudi Arabia.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)


OECD was set up in a convention signed in Paris on December 14 1960. Tourism is an integral
part of its objectives. The OECD established a tourism committee responsible for coordinating
studies and assessing the policies of member countries and their impact to tourism. The
organization promotes policies designed to achieve the highest sustainable economic growth
and employment.

Ang OECD ay itinatag sa isang kombensiyon na nilagdaan sa Paris noong


Disyembre 14 1960. Ang turismo ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng mga layunin
nito. Ang OECD ay nagtatag ng isang komite sa turismo na responsable para sa
pag-uugnay ng mga pag-aaral at pagtatasa ng mga patakaran ng mga kasaping
bansa at ang epekto nito sa turismo. Nagsusulong ang samahan ng mga patakaran
na idinisenyo upang makamit ang pinakamataas na napapanatiling paglago ng
ekonomiya at trabaho.

Caribbean tourism association was founded in 1951 to encourage and assist in the
development of tourism throughout the caribbean area. It's objectives are to provide an
instrument for close collaboration among the various territories and countries concerned. The
promotion and development of inter-Carribean travel is also particular concern of the
association. The CTA publishes brochures, films, reports, newsletters and other information
about the countries' size, language, currency and so on. It also carries out statistical and
research work relating to travel trends and tourism development for the benefit of the members.

tulungan sa pagpapaunlad ng turismo sa buong lugar ng caribbean. Ang mga

Organization of American States (OAS)


Main objective of OAS is to strengthen relations between american states. OAS conduct a
number of travel studies and tourism development programs. Other regional travel associations
include the south american tourism organization the european travel commission and the
common market travel association.
Pangunahing layunin ng OAS ay upang palakasin ang mga relasyon sa pagitan ng
mga estado ng amerikano. Ang OAS ay nagsasagawa ng isang bilang ng mga pag-
aaral sa paglalakbay at mga programa sa pag-unlad ng turismo. Ang iba pang mga
panrehiyong asosasyon sa paglalakbay ay kasama ang samahan ng turismo ng
timog amerikano ang komisyon sa paglalakbay sa Europa at ang karaniwang
samahan ng paglalakbay sa merkado.

Department of tourism is the primary government agency charged with the responsibility to
encourage promote and develop tourism in the Philippines. The department is headed by the
secretary of tourism who is assisted by the by 3 undersecretaries and one assistant secretary.
The 15 regional offices of the DOT are responsible for domestic tourism promotion, tourism
marketing accreditation, tourism assistance, public relations, and coordination with local
government units and tourism stakeholders.

Tourism Promotions Board (TPB)


The tourism promotions board formerly philippine convention and visitors corporation is a
corporate body created under ra number 9593 which shall have an authorized capital of 250
million fully subscribed by the national government. The board is under the supervision of the
department of tourism secretary and attached to the DOT for purposes of program and policy

coordination. It shall be responsible for marketing and promoting the philippines domestically
and internationally as a major global tourism destination. It may also provide incentives to travel
agencies abroad which are able to draw tourists and tourism investments.

The tourism infrastructure and enterprise zone authority is the tourism board's chief operating
officer. The board is composed of a board of directors composed of the department secretary,
the tourism secretary, and other tourism-related officials. The tourism board was set up to
promote and promote tourism in the UK. It was established to encourage tourism in England
and Wales.

The representative director shall be appointed for a three-year term by the president. They must
be filipinos with recognized competence in business management.

This is an agency of the Department of Tourism of the Philippines that is


mandated to develop, preserve, and manage Rizal and Paco Parks in Manila and
other parks that may be assigned to it
The national parks development committee is a government agency that is task to

The duty and tax free merchandising system in the philippines is to augment the
service facilities for tourists and to generate foreign exchange and revenue for the

airports and seaports, TEZs and ports of entry throughout the country.
