The document discusses whether governments should regulate the fast food industry like other regulated industries such as drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. It presents two perspectives. One perspective is that fast food has health issues and governments must strictly control the fast food industry. However, the other perspective is that fast food is convenient when people are busy and not unhealthy if consumed in moderation. Fast food does not cause addiction or social problems like other regulated substances. Therefore, the document concludes that governments should regulate drugs, alcohol, and tobacco more strictly than the fast food industry.

Should the government regulate the fast food industries in the same way
that it regulates the drug, alcohol, and tobacco industries
In the present age, fast food can find in every country. It like a part of life for every citizen. They can not live without fast food. More and more governments must strictly control fast food industries like the way they do with drug, alcohol, and tobacco industries because of health issues. In my opinion, fast food does not have any damaging influences and establishes that I will show the good sides for these reasons below. My first point is that eating fast food is convenient for everyone who does not have time to cook. In the globalization process, everybody seems to live so fast, too busy, and do not have enough time for the family. So fast food is one of the best choices when they have lunch or dinner. Those people just need to go to the restaurants for quick meals or online order. For example, I am used to buying fast food by going to restaurants when my parents do not stay at home or order online, and these restaurants would instantly ship to me. My second point is that fast food is not bad for our health if we do not overeat. Besides, by eating fast food, drug, alcohol, and tobacco, people would not be able to use fast food. Too much fast food is mostly to cause some diseases such as obesity and heart- related diseases; however, these stimulants such as drugs, alcohol, and tobacco not only make people addicted but also cause social evils like theft, crime, etc. In conclusion, I believe that the government should keep the drug, alcohol and tobacco industries more strictly than the fast-food industries for many reasons mentioned above.
Some People Think That The Government Has The Duty To Ensure Its Citizens Have A Healthy Diet, While Others Argue It Is The Responsibility of Each Individual
