Recommendations for where to go around Hanoi

From the house you either can walk to the city center by Long Bien Bridge or it's very
convenient and cheap ( cost like 1-1.5$) to go by uber to get to the old quarter, if you
find it difficult to talk to the driver, please go downstairs to the reception and ask the
receptionist to talk to the driver. From the apartment, you can hang around with lots of
good local restaurants and spas ( foot massage) and coffee shops, bars, clubs open till 1-
2am depend.

Bars:
Apart from Bia Hoi corner ( Ta Hien street), you can find lots of good options for night
life out. Some of the suggestions I could list out:

Nice chill and designed pubs/ lounge: Tadioto, Cosa Nostra, Savage bar…

Clubbing: 1900, Opera bar. Nicer and more fancy  bars are Camelia, the Toilet bar (the
Bank formerly), Rooftop bar, ...

Museums: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Historical museum(5-10 mins taxi), Vietnam

Museum of Ethnology is a big one where you can spend a day there to go through.

Night market: If you arrive on weekend, the streets around Hoan Kiem lake ( 5-10 mins
driving from the apartment) will be blocked from Friday evening to Sunday evening for
pedestrians. On those days, all the vehicles are restricted to go in, you can have a nice
walk, enjoy night market, music on the street from traditional music to cool trendy live
music...

Tours:
1 day tour: If you want to go somewhere else within a day – you can choose: Ha Long
bay, Ninh Binh, Mai Chau, Moc Chau... The tour cost from 35$ - 45$ / person – depend
on which tour you choose. I can help for booking tour if you want.
2 days tour: Sapa, Ha Long bay,.. is a must go. If you need info for those tours – I can
connect you with the Tour agency.

I am happy to give you more advises while your stay here upon request.
