Persuasive Speech Outline: Motivational

Life Is A Very Precious Gift

Introduction

 Each moment of human life carries us an opportunity, to act to develop and express
our virtues. Every moment unlocks the path to us to receive blessings.
 This is the truth that life gives us both positive and negative situations.
 What is really important is how we react.

Body 1: Life Is A Journey, Not A Destination

 Ralph Waldo Emerson-life is a journey not a destination

 As human beings we do like to divide a whole lifetime in smaller amounts of time
maybe to have a better grasp of these smaller time intervals- decades, years,
quarters, months, weeks, days, hours, seconds
 In the different roles that we hold (parent, boss, sports coach, sibling, employee,
etc.).
 We inevitably support and influence people around us on their own journey.
 It is important to stay on our own path.

Body 2: The Greatest Glory In Living Lies Not In Never Falling, But In Rising Every
Time We Fall

 Nelson Mandela- the greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every
time we fall
 Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
 We are powerful beyond measure.
 It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I
to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
 Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t
serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
won’t feel insecure around you.
 We are all meant to shine, as children do.

Body 3: If Life Were Predictable It Would Cease To Be Life, And Be Without Flavour

 Eleanor Roosevelt- If Life Were Predictable It Would Cease To Be Life, And Be

Without Flavour
 If life was predictable,it would take all the mystery out of it.
 We would cease to be amazed by varying outcomes. There would be no element of
surprise if everything turns out the same.
 We need that zest of chance, that makes us wonder, how will this play out?
 Sometimes, when life throws us a curveball,we might wish for a more predictable life.
 Yet,if given that most likely we would be disappointed because we could never
expect for more to happen to us than we have been expecting.
 The odd but charming ,person that looks at us for a second longer than expected.

Conclusion

 One should make life worthwhile.

 It should be with the love of our family and friends that life can be made beautiful.
 Life can be more beautiful and purposeful by discharging our duties in our family, at
work, society, and the world at large.
