Weather Coat Exterior Sealer

PRODUCT: WEATHER COAT EXTERIOR SEALER

Weather Coat Exterior Sealer is an excellent Primer for plastered wall, which seals porosity of the
surface and prevent evaporation of moisture from inside wall and keeps the topcoat finish safe
and sound. This primer can also be used on asbestos cement and hard board.

USES: All types of Plasters, Hard Board, Asbestos Sheets & Concrete.
MATERIAL PREPARATION: For Brush, Paint: Water= 1:1 (By volume)
For Roller, Paint: Water = 1:1 (by volume). Use the thinned material within 6-8 hours. Do not
retain the thinned material beyond recommended time.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be clean, free from dust, grease, oil, heavy soot,
chalk, mildew, etc. Chalk joints and fill holes where necessary. All old loose, flaking or peeling
paint must be removed.
Surface preparation for new walls:
Before application of Weather Coat Exterior Sealer, for smooth finish apply two coats of Berger
All Purpose putty White with 3 hrs interval directly on plastered surface. After proper drying (24
hrs) of A/P putty white, rub down the surface with sandpaper to provide a sound surface for prime
coat.
Surface preparation for Old walls/Previously painted walls:
Previously painted surface with cement paint should be wire brushed and washed with water. And
previously Weather Coat / any emulsion painted surface must be wire brush and cleaned
thoroughly.
APPLICATION: Apply 1coat Weather Coat Exterior Sealer as prime coat or sealer with 60-
100% thinning with water. Do not stretch material beyond recommended coverage.
For better finishing, apply 1 to 2 coat Weather coat Touch Putty before applying weather coat
exterior sealer.
