WHAT IS SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE?

The simple future is a verb tense that’s used to talk about things that have not happened yet.

Use the simple future to talk about an action or condition that will begin and end in the
future.

The simple future is a form of the verb that refers to an action or event that has not yet
begun. The simple future is also used to make a prediction or to show ability, intention, or
determination.

In simple future tense we use WILL/SHALL and GOING TO.

Simple future tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja atau kalimat yang digunakan untuk
menyatakan suatu kejadian yang terjadi dimasa yang akan datang, secara spontan ataupun
terencana.

Simple future tense dibentuk dari modal auxhilary verb “will” atau “shall” dan bare
infinitive (bentuk dasar verb/verb1) atau dari phrasal modal “be going to” dan bare
infinitive.

Will digunakan ketika subject : I, We, You, They, He, She, It (Semua subject)
Shall digunakan ketika subject: I dan We

Sedangkan untuk Be Going To perhatikan subject dan tambahkan to be yang sesuai (is, am,
are).

‘Will’ or ‘be going to’?

Put in ‘will’ or ‘be going to’:
